This splendid Mahadevi temple is situated in a location known as Pullekanaka, within the Alappuzha district, along the route from Mavelikara to Krishnapuram via Kattanam.
The deity referred to as Abhishtavarada is worshiped in the Bhadrakali Bhava, facing north. This goddess is also recognized as Parashakti Durga. The festival associated with her is celebrated on Bharani day during the month of Meenam. To reach Pullikanakk, one can travel 4 kilometers along the road from Kayamkulam to Punalur, taking the route that leads to Krishnapuram.
അഴകിയകാവ് ദേവീ ക്ഷേത്രം
ആലപ്പുഴ ജില്ലയിൽ പുള്ളീക്കണക്ക എന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ മഹാദേവി ക്ഷേത്രം വളരെ പ്രശസ്തമാണ്. വടക്കോട്ട് അഭിമുഖമായി ഭദ്രകാളി രൂപത്തിലുള്ള ഈ ഭഗവതി അഭീഷ്ടവരദയായി അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. പരാശക്തിയായ ദുർഗ്ഗയെപ്പോലെ ഈ ദേവിയെ ആരാധിക്കുന്നു. മീനമാസത്തിലെ ഭരണി നാളിലാണ് ഇവിടെ ഉത്സവം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നത്. കായംകുളം പുനലൂർ പാതയിൽ നിന്നും രണ്ടാം കുറ്റി എന്ന സ്ഥലത്തുനിന്നും കൃഷ്ണപുരത്തേക്കു പോകുന്ന പാതയിൽ 4 കിലോമീറ്റർ യാത്ര ചെയ്താൽ പുള്ളീക്കണക്കിലെത്താം.
