Elikattu Sri Dharma Shasta Temple is a historic site situated approximately 2 kilometers from Poochakkal in the Alappuzha district, and it is dedicated to Lord Ayyappa.
Elikat Sree Dharmashasta Temple, managed by Thevarvattam Karayoga, upholds traditional Ayyappa temple rituals with devotion. The annual temple festival begins with a ceremonial flag-raising in Medam and concludes with the Aarattu, with key observances during Mandalkalam in Vruschikam and the Makaravilak Mahotsavam. Monthly recitations of the Ayyappabhagavatham are conducted, and significant offerings include Niranjanam, Shanishwara Puja with Kadalipazham, Kadumpayasam, Chatushtam Ghee lamp with Elluthiri, and the Arunazhi Ghee anointing.

ആലപ്പുഴ ജില്ലയിലെ പൂച്ചാക്കലിൽ നിന്ന് ഏകദേശം 2 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയായി സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന പുരാതന ക്ഷേത്രമാണ് തേവർവട്ടം എലിക്കാട്ട് ശ്രീ ധർമ്മശാസ്താ ക്ഷേത്രം. തേവർവട്ടം കരയോഗം ഭരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ എലിക്കാട്ട് ശ്രീ ധർമ്മശാസ്താവ് കരുണാമൂർത്തിയായി നിലകൊണ്ടു ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾക്ക് അനുഗ്രഹം ചൊരിയുന്നു. 2022 മെയ് മാസത്തിൽ ധ്വജപ്രതിഷ്ഠാ ചടങ്ങുകൾ ഭക്തിപാരവശ്യത്തോടെ തന്ത്രി മോനാട്ടുമനയ്ക്കൽ കൃഷ്ണൻ നമ്പൂതിരിയും മേൽശാന്തി രമേശ് പോറ്റിയും കാർമികത്വം വഹിച്ചു.
അയ്യപ്പക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ആചരിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാ ആചാരങ്ങളും സമ്പൂർണമായും ഇവിടെ അനുഷ്ഠിക്കുന്നതിനാൽ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ മഹിമ കൂടി വർദ്ധിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. മേടമാസത്തിലെ ഉത്സവം കൊടിയേറ്റത്തോടെ ആരംഭിച്ച് ആറാട്ടോടെ സമാപിക്കുന്നു. വൃശ്ചികത്തിലെ മണ്ഡലകാലവും, മകരവിളക്ക് മഹോത്സവവും ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന തിരുനാളുകളാണ്. പ്രധാന വഴിപാടുകൾ: നീരാഞ്ജനം, ശനീശ്വര പൂജ, കദളിപഴം ചേർത്ത അട, കടുംപായസം, ചതുശ്ശതം, നെയ്വിളക്ക്, എള്ളുപായസം, അറുനാഴി, നെയ്യഭിഷേകം എന്നിവയാണ്.
