Sri Kottaram Bhagavathy Temple is a renowned historical temple dedicated to Durga Bhagavathy, located in the Alappuzha district. The principal deity worshipped here is Goddess Durga.
This temple exemplifies traditional Kerala architecture, featuring an upa devata shrine and a chuttambalam. The temple hosts an 8-day annual festival during Kumbha Masam, which falls between February and March.

ശ്രീ കൊട്ടാരം ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം ആലപ്പുഴ ജില്ലയിലെ പ്രശസ്തമായ ഒരു പുരാതന ദുർഗ്ഗാഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രമാണ്. ഇവിടെ ദുർഗ്ഗാദേവിയുടെ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠയാണ്. പഴയ തിരുവിതാംകൂർ രാജ്യം ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലായിരുന്നു. ആലപ്പുഴ കല്ലുപാലത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ചന്ദനക്കാവിലേക്ക് പോകുന്ന വഴിയിൽ കൊട്ടാരപ്പാലത്തിന് സമീപം ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു.
ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം പരമ്പരാഗത കേരള ശൈലിയിൽ നിർമിക്കപ്പെട്ടതും ഉപദേവത ശ്രീകോവിലും ചുറ്റമ്പലവുമുള്ളതുമാണ്. വർഷം തോറും ഫെബ്രുവരി മുതൽ മാർച്ച് വരെ വരുന്ന കുംഭ മാസത്തിൽ എട്ടു ദിവസം നീണ്ടുനിൽക്കുന്ന ഉത്സവം ഇവിടെ നടക്കുന്നു. ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ ചരിത്രം ചെമ്പകശ്ശേരി രാജവംശവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു, കൂടാതെ പമ്പാനദിയുടെ തീരത്ത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നുമാണ്. ആണ്ടുതോറും മകര മാസത്തിൽ പൊങ്കാല മഹോത്സവവും കലഭാഭിഷേകം ചടങ്ങും ഇവിടെ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു. നവരാത്രി, തൃക്കാർത്തിക എന്നിവയും ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന ആഘോഷങ്ങളാണ്.
