Kuttikattu Sree Bhadra Kali Devi Temple is situated in Cherthala Town within the Alappuzha District. It is recognized as one of the prominent temples in the Alappuzha region.
The temple is dedicated to the Goddess Bhadrakali. Every month, on the first Sunday, the Kunguma Khalasam ceremony takes place, attracting devotees who seek blessings for children, wealth, and prosperity through their offerings. The temple festival is referred to as Prasadam Ottu.
Additionally, the temple is renowned for its Serpent Worship, which occurs annually during the main ceremony. During this time, distinct poojas are conducted for the nine Nagas: Nagaraja, Sarppa Yakshi, Naga Yakshi, Naga Chamundi, AnjuThala Mani Nagam, Kuzhi Nagam, Kari Nagam, Mani Nagam, and Para Nagam. കുറ്റിക്കാട്ട് ശ്രീഭദ്രകാളി ദേവി ക്ഷേത്രം ആലപ്പുഴ ജില്ലയിലെ ചേർത്തലയിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. ചേർത്തല റെയിൽവേ സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ നിന്നും അർത്തുങ്കൽ റോഡിലൂടെ ഏകദേശം 1.7 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം. ശ്രീ ഭദ്രകാളിയാണ് ഇവിടെ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠ. ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് തീർത്ഥാടകരെ ആകർഷിക്കുന്ന ആലപ്പുഴയിലെ പ്രശസ്ത ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് ഇത്.
സന്താനവും ഐശ്വര്യവും ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന ഭക്തർ എല്ലാ മാസവും ആദ്യ ഞായറാഴ്ചകളിൽ കുങ്കുമ കലശം നടത്താറുണ്ട്. ക്ഷേത്രോത്സവം പ്രസാദം ഊട്ട് എന്ന പേരിൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. വാർഷിക ചടങ്ങിൽ നടക്കുന്ന സർപ്പ ആരാധനയും ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ മറ്റൊരു പ്രശസ്തമായ ആകർഷണമാണ്. നാഗരാജാവ്, സർപ്പയക്ഷി, നാഗയക്ഷി, നാഗചാമുണ്ഡി, അഞ്ചുതല മണിനാഗം, കുഴിനാഗം, കരിനാഗം, മണിനാഗം, പാറ നാഗം എന്നിവയെ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന ഒൻപത് നാഗങ്ങൾക്ക് ഈ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ പ്രത്യേക പൂജകൾ നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു.
