Mavelikara Puthiyakavu Devi temple is situated in Puthiyakavu, within the town of Mavelikkara in the Alappuzha district.
The temple is consecrated to Goddess Bhadrakali. The annual celebration at the temple occurs during the month of Meena, aligning with the Meena Bharani day. This modest shrine features a Nalambalam, a Chathura sreekovil, an expansive temple pond, and a Namaskara mandapam.
Additionally, there are shrines dedicated to various sub-deities. The annual festival includes a caparisoned elephant, Melam, Kettukazhcha, festival pujas, and Ezhunnallathu, along with Nedumkuthira, Jeevitha Ezhunnallathu, and Parayeduppu. Significant days at the temple include Saptaham, Abhishekam, Navratri pujas, Vidyarambham, and Thrikarthika Vilakku.
