Munnodi Durga Devi and Sree Bhadrakali Temple celebrates several significant festivals, with the Kumbhapura Maholsavam being the main festival, lasting for 10 days and celebrated with grandeur. Other important festivals include Bhagavatha Sapthaham, Thiruvonam, Vinayaka Chathurthy, Ashtamirohini, Poojavayppu, Vidyarambham, Mandalakalam, Makaravilakku, Thrikkarthika, Ramayana Masacharanam, Paurnami Ponkala, Guruthi, Vishukkani, and Niraputhari.

The Niraputhari festival, marking the beginning of the harvest season, involves the distribution of freshly harvested paddy from the temple to the deities as an offering, symbolizing gratitude for the harvest and invoking blessings for future prosperity. ആലപ്പുഴ ജില്ലയിലെ കാഞ്ഞിരംചിറയിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന ശ്രീ മുന്നോടി ദേവസ്ഥാനം, ശുദ്ധമായ ആത്മീയപ്രശാന്തിയുടെ കേന്ദ്രമാണ്. ഇഷ്ടവരപ്രദായിനിയായ പരാശക്തി ദുർഗ്ഗായും, ശ്രീ ഭദ്രകാളിയായും മഹാദേവൻ ശ്രീ പരമേശ്വരനും, ത്രികാലജ്ഞാനിയും വഴികാട്ടിയുമായി മുന്നോടി അപ്പൂപ്പനും മറ്റു ഉപദേവന്മാരും വിളങ്ങുന്ന ഈ ദേവസ്ഥാനം, പുണ്യസങ്കേതമായാണ് അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. ക്ഷേത്രം ആലപ്പുഴ കടൽത്തീരത്തോട് ചേർന്ന്, കൊല്ലം ഭാഗത്തേക്കുള്ള ആലപ്പുഴ ബൈപാസ്സ് തുടങ്ങുന്ന കൊമ്മാടിയിൽനിന്ന് 3.4 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയാണ് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്.

ശ്രീ ദുർഗ്ഗാദേവിയും ശ്രീ ഭദ്രകാളിയുമാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠകൾ. എല്ലാ വിശേഷദിവസങ്ങളും ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ഗംഭീരമായി ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു. ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന വിശേഷ ദിവസം പത്ത് ദിവസം നീണ്ടുനിൽക്കുന്ന കുംഭപൂര മഹോത്സവമാണ്. ഭാഗവത സപ്താഹം, തിരുവോണം, വിനായക ചതുർത്ഥി, അഷ്ടമിരോഹിണി, പൂജവയ്പ്പ്, വിദ്യാരംഭം, മണ്ഡലകാലം, മകരവിളക്ക് മഹോത്സവം, വൃഷ്ചികമാസത്തിലെ കാർത്തിക, മേടത്തിൽ വിഷുക്കണി, രാമായണമാസാചരണം, എന്നിവയും ഇവിടെ ആഘോഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. പത്താം ഉത്സവനാളിലെ പൗർണ്ണമി പൊങ്കാലക്ക് ധാരാളം സ്ത്രീകൾ പങ്കെടുത്തു ആഘോഷങ്ങളിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നു.
