Nangiarkulangara Sree Krishna Swamy Temple is situated in Nangiarkulangara, close to Haripad in the Alappuzha district of Kerala.
The nine-day annual festival at the temple commences on the Thiruvonam nakshatra in the month of Dhanu. The temple also honors subsidiary deities, known as upa devatas, including Ganapati, Ayyappa, Bhagavan Sri Rama, and Yakshi. Adjacent to the temple, there is a well-maintained large pond. Among the days of the week, Thursday is regarded as the most auspicious in the temple.
The temple features a circular sanctum sanctorum, with the principal murti of Bhagavan Sri Krishna oriented towards the east. This annual festival is renowned for its various rituals linked to the Sri Krishna temple in Kerala, including the Sree Bhootha Bali. During the festival, Annadanam, or food donation, takes place. The event also showcases traditional performing arts, music, and dance from Kerala.
The festival includes caparisoned elephants, melam, fireworks, and sheevali as integral components.
The celebration culminates with the Arattu ritual, during which the utsava murti of Bhagavan is taken for a purification ceremony on the final day.

ആലപ്പുഴ ജില്ലയിലെ പള്ളിപ്പാട് പഞ്ചായത്തിലെ നങ്ങ്യാർകുളങ്ങരയിൽ, ഹരിപ്പാട്-കായംകുളം റൂട്ടിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന നങ്ങ്യാർകുളങ്ങര ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണസ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രം ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണ ഭഗവാനെ സമർപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളതാണ്. ഈ പ്രദേശത്തെ പ്രശസ്തമായ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നായി ഇത് കണക്കാക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. പൂർണ്ണ ഭക്തിയോടെ പ്രാർത്ഥിക്കുന്ന ഭക്തരുടെ ആഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ ഭഗവാൻ ഇവിടെ നിറവേറ്റുമെന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു. ഉത്സവ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ, ഭഗവന്റെ അനുഗ്രഹം തേടി ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് ഭക്തർ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലേക്ക് എത്തുന്നു. ധനുവിലെ തിരുവോണം നക്ഷത്രത്തിൽ കൊടിയേറ്റോടെ ക്ഷേത്രോത്സവം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നു.
വൃത്താകൃതിയിലുള്ള ശ്രീകോവിൽ ഭഗവാൻ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണന്റെ പ്രധാന മൂർത്തി കിഴക്കോട്ട് ദർശനമായാണ്. ഗണപതി, അയ്യപ്പൻ, ഭഗവാൻ ശ്രീരാമൻ, യക്ഷി എന്നിവരാണ് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ഉപദേവതകൾ. ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ സമീപത്ത് നന്നായി പരിപാലിച്ച ഒരു വലിയ കുളം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണ ക്ഷേത്രദർശനത്തിന് ഏറ്റവും അനുയോജ്യമായ ദിവസം വ്യാഴാഴ്ചയാണ്. ശ്രീഭൂതബലി ഉൾപ്പെടെയുള്ള വിവിധ ആചാരങ്ങൾക്കായി പ്രശസ്തമായ ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം, വാർഷിക ഉത്സവത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള കെട്ടുകാഴ്ചകൾക്കും ശ്രദ്ധേയമാണ്.
9 ദിവസങ്ങളോളം നീണ്ടുനിൽക്കുന്ന വാർഷിക ഉത്സവം ധനുമാസത്തിലെ തിരുവോണം നക്ഷത്രത്തിൽ കൊടിയേറ്റോടെ ആരംഭിക്കുന്നു. ഉത്സവകാലത്ത് എല്ലാ ദിവസവും അന്നദാനം നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു. കേരളത്തിലെ പരമ്പരാഗത കലാരൂപങ്ങൾ, സംഗീതം, നൃത്തം എന്നിവ ഈ സമയത്ത് അരങ്ങേറുന്നു. ആനകൾ, മേളം, വെടിക്കെട്ട്, ശീവേലി എന്നിവ ഉത്സവത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണ്. ആറാട്ടു ചടങ്ങുകളോടെ ഉത്സവം സമാപിക്കുന്നു, അന്നേദിവസം ഭഗവാൻറെ ഉത്സവമൂർത്തി ശുദ്ധീകരണത്തിനായി എടുക്കുന്നു.
