Panachamoodu Vanadurga Temple is situated in Pilappuzha Thekku – Danapady, close to Haripad in the Alappuzha district of Kerala. This temple is devoted to Goddess Bhagavathy, with its sankalpam representing Vanadurga.
Meena Bharani, celebrated on the day of the Bharani nakshatra during Meena Masam (March – April), is the most significant festival at the temple. This temple is modest in size, primarily featuring a chathura sreekovil, along with shrines dedicated to various upa devatas.
The annual festival is distinguished by its unique pujas and rituals that are characteristic of Bhagavathi temples in the Alappuzha region. The festivities include Ezhunnallathu, processions, melam, and various performing arts typical of Kerala temples. Additionally, the temple observes Thrikarthika and Navratri.

പനച്ചമൂട് വനദുർഗ്ഗാ ക്ഷേത്രം എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന പനച്ചൂർ ദേവീക്ഷേത്രം ആലപ്പുഴ ജില്ലയിൽ ഹരിപ്പാടിനടുത്ത് പിലാപ്പുഴ തെക്ക് - ഡാണാപ്പാടിയിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. ഭഗവതിക്ക് സമർപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം വനദുർഗ്ഗയുടേതാണ്. മീനമാസത്തിലെ (മാർച്ച്-ഏപ്രിൽ) ഭരണി നക്ഷത്ര ദിനത്തിൽ നടക്കുന്ന മീന ഭരണി ഉത്സവം ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട ഉത്സവമാണ്. പ്രധാനമായും ഒരു ചതുര ശ്രീകോവിൽ ഉൾക്കൊള്ളുന്ന ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം, ഉപദേവതമാരുടെ ആരാധനാലയങ്ങളാൽ സമ്പന്നമാണ്.
ആലപ്പുഴയിലെ ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട എല്ലാ ആചാരങ്ങളും, പൂജകളും ഇവിടെ ആചരിക്കുന്നു. വാർഷിക ഉത്സവം വളരെ ശ്രദ്ധേയമാണ്. കേരളത്തിലെ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിലെ എഴുന്നള്ളത്ത്, ഘോഷയാത്ര, മേളം, കലാരൂപങ്ങൾ എന്നിവ ഉത്സവത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു. തൃക്കാർത്തികയും നവരാത്രിയും ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ആഘോഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
