Punnapra Kalari See Bhagavathi Temple is situated in Punnapra, with the principal deity being the goddess Devi.
The sub-deities Shiva, Shasta, Ganapati, Nagakava, Yakshiamma, Gandharva, Arukola, and Bhuvaneshwari each have their own distinct natas. The temple is associated with the Mulangatu family, which also oversees a temple committee comprised of local devotees to manage temple activities.
Adjacent to the highway, there is a large bathing pool, a “Kalitthattu” designated for relaxation and leisure, a well providing drinking water (thanneer pandal), and an ample supply of buttermilk for refreshment. Additionally, a “Chumaduthangi” is available for unloading burdens carried on the head, among other amenities. However, due to land acquisition for the construction of a new national highway, the pool, well, and chumduthangi have been lost, although the playground remains intact.
Significant days celebrated at the temple include Thiruvonam in the month of Chingam, Vinayaka Chaturthi, Ashtamirohini, Puja in Kanni month, Vidyarambam, Ayilyampuja in Thulam month, Ayyappajyoti, which illuminates homes across the country for forty-one days during Vruschikam, Nirmalya darshan in the morning, Kalashapooja in Makaram month, Makaravilakku, Pratishtha Mahotsavam, Shivaratri in Kumbham, Tiruvathira in Dhanu month, Vishukani in Medam month, Bhagavata sapthaha week, and Ramayana month in Karkitaka month. A significant number of devotees travel from various regions of the country to participate in the Bhagavata sapthaham week during Medamasam.

ആലപ്പുഴ-അമ്പലപ്പുഴ ദേശീയപാതയിൽ പുന്നപ്രയിലെ മിൽമ കേന്ദ്രത്തിന്റെ കിഴക്കുവശത്തുള്ള കളരി റോഡിലൂടെ 700 മീറ്റർ കിഴക്കോട്ട് സഞ്ചരിച്ചാൽ നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകളായി നിലനിൽക്കുന്ന കളരി ശ്രീ ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ എത്തിച്ചേരാം. ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം പുന്നപ്രയിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു, ഭഗവതി ഇവിടെ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠയാണ്. പുന്നപ്രക്കാരുടെ ദേശദേവതയും സർവാഭീഷ്ടവരദായിനിയും അനാഥരക്ഷകയും ആയ ഭഗവതി, ഭക്തജനങ്ങളിൽ കരുണയുടെ സ്പർശം നൽകുന്ന അമ്മയായി കനിവോടെ കിടക്കുന്നു.
ദേവിയുടെ രൂപത്തിൽ, തലയിൽ ചന്ദ്രക്കല, ഒരു കയ്യിൽ വരദമുദ്ര, മറുകൈയിൽ അഭയമുദ്ര, മറ്റ് കൈകളിൽ ശംഖ്, ചക്രം എന്നിവയോടെ നിൽക്കുന്നു. ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ഭഗവതി തന്റെ ഭക്തർക്കു സർവസിദ്ധികളും ഐശ്വര്യങ്ങളും നൽകുന്നു. ഭയഭക്തിയോടെ ഭജിച്ചാൽ ആയുരാരോഗ്യവും സമൃദ്ധിയും ലഭ്യമാകും. ദുരിതം, രോഗം എന്നിവയുടെ നിവാരണത്തിനും മംഗല്യത്തിനും സത്പുത്രലബ്ധിക്കായി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ കലശദിനത്തിൽ നടക്കുന്ന പൊങ്കാലയിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാൻ ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾ ധാരാളമായി എത്തുന്ന ക്ഷേത്രമാണ് ഇത്.
ചിങ്ങത്തിലെ തിരുവോണം, വിനായക ചതുർത്ഥി, അഷ്ടമിരോഹിണി, കന്നിമാസത്തിലെ പൂജവയ്പ്പ്, വിദ്യാരംഭം, തുലാമാസത്തിലെ ആയില്യംപൂജ, വൃശ്ചികം ഒന്നുമുതൽ നാൽപത്തിയൊന്ന് ദിവസം വരെ ദേശത്തെ എല്ലാ വീടുകളിലും എത്തുന്ന അയ്യപ്പജ്യോതി, പുലർച്ചെയുള്ള നിർമ്മാല്യ ദർശനം, മകരത്തിലെ മകരവിളക്ക്, മകരമാസത്തിലെ കലശപൂജ, പ്രതിഷ്ഠാ മഹോത്സവം, കുംഭത്തിലെ ശിവരാത്രി, ധനുമാസത്തിലെ തിരുവാതിര, മേടമാസത്തിലെ വിഷുക്കണി, ഭാഗവത സപ്താഹം, കർക്കിടക മാസത്തിൽ രാമായണമാസം എന്നിവയാണ് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന വിശേഷ ദിവസങ്ങൾ. മേടമാസത്തിലെ ഭാഗവത സപ്താഹത്തിന് നാടിൻറെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള അനേകം ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾ എത്തിച്ചേരുന്നു.
