Ezhupunna Narayanapuram Mahavishnu Temple is situated in Ezhupunna, within the Alappuzha district. Legends suggest that the idol revered at the Sree Narayanapuram Mahavishnu Temple is around 1500 years old.
This temple exemplifies the traditional architectural style of Kerala, featuring a chathura sreekovil oriented towards the east. The shrine includes a chuttambalam, namaskara mandapam, kodimaram, and a temple pond. The deities worshipped here include Ganapathi, Subrahmanya, Siva, Sasta, Bhadrakali, and Nagayakshi.
The temple celebrates the annual Ashtami Rohini festival during the Malayalam month of Chingamasam. This festival is renowned for its Vaishnava pujas and rituals, which encompass abhishekam, homa, various sahasranama archana, and pallivetta. The festivities commence with a ceremonial flag hoisting and conclude with an arattu procession. Sri Krishna Janmashtami is particularly significant, featuring pujas, processions, uriyadi, feasting, and the dressing of young children as Sri Krishna.

ശ്രീനാരായണപുരം മഹാവിഷ്ണു ക്ഷേത്രം കേരളത്തിലെ ഒരു പുരാതനവും പ്രശസ്തവുമായ ക്ഷേത്രമാണ്. ആലപ്പുഴ ജില്ലയിലെ ചേർത്തല വടക്ക് എഴുപുന്നയിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. ഐതിഹ്യപ്രകാരം, ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠയ്ക്ക് ഏകദേശം 1500 വർഷത്തെ പഴക്കമുണ്ട്. ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ വൃത്താകൃതിയിലുള്ള ശ്രീകോവിൽ, ചെമ്പ് പൂശിയ നാലമ്പലം, ബലിക്കൽപുര, സ്വർണ്ണ ധ്വജം, ആനപ്പന്തൽ എന്നിവ കാണാം.
നാലു കൈകളുള്ള മഹാവിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ ആകർഷകമായ ശംഖ്, ചക്രം, ഗദ, പത്മം എന്നിവ കൈവശമുള്ള വിഗ്രഹം കിഴക്കോട്ട് ദർശനമരുളുന്നു. ഗണപതി, സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യൻ, ശിവൻ, ശാസ്താവ്, ഭദ്രകാളി, നാഗയക്ഷി, നാഗങ്ങൾ എന്നിവയാണ് മറ്റ് ഉപദേവതകൾ. നാലമ്പലത്തിന്റെ തെക്ക് പടിഞ്ഞാറേ മൂലയിൽ ഗണപതി ശ്രീകോവിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. നാലമ്പലത്തിന് പുറത്ത്, തെക്ക് പടിഞ്ഞാറേ മൂലയിൽ ശാസ്താക്ഷേത്രവും ശിവക്ഷേത്രവും സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. ഭദ്രകാളി ക്ഷേത്രം ഇടതുവശത്തും, നാഗയക്ഷി, സർപ്പദൈവങ്ങൾ വടക്കുകിഴക്ക് മൂലയിലും കാണപ്പെടുന്നു.
ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ എട്ട് ദിവസത്തെ പ്രധാന ക്ഷേത്രോത്സവം മകരമാസത്തിൽ നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു. കൊടിയേറ്റോടെ ഉത്സവം ആരംഭിച്ച്, ആറാട്ടു മഹോത്സവത്തോടെ സമാപിക്കുന്നു.
