Ayyanchirangara Bhagavathi Temple, situated in Vengola, Ernakulam, is a sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Goddess Bhagavathi.
Located 7.5 km from Perumbavoor, this is the only temple in Kerala where both Goddess Durga and Goddess Bhadra are worshipped together in a quadrangle. Annual festival is celebrated on the Bharani day of Makaram, drawing devotees from far and wide.
During the festival, traditional offerings and rituals such as Kalamezhuthu, devotional songs, and Mudiyettu, a ritualistic art form, are performed to honor the goddesses.
It is widely believed that having darshan of the deities here grants prosperity, fulfillment of desires, and relief from ailments. Devotees revere the Ayyanchirangara Bhagavathis as the embodiment of supreme energy, nature, intellect, life force, Parabrahma, and Kundalini Shakti. Goddess Durga is worshipped for good fortune and fertility, while Goddess Bhadra is invoked for financial stability and healing.
അയ്യൻചിറങ്ങര ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം
എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയിലെ പെരുമ്പാവൂരിൽ നിന്ന് 7.5 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയുള്ള അയ്യൻചിറങ്ങര ദേശത്ത്, ക്ഷേത്രസങ്കൽപ്പവും ഗ്രാമഭംഗിയും ഒത്തുചേർന്ന ദിവ്യമായ ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നു. ദുർഗ്ഗാ ദേവിയും ഭദ്രകാളി ദേവിയും തുല്യപ്രാധാന്യത്തോടെ നാലുകെട്ടിനുള്ളിൽ ദർശനം നല്കുന്ന കേരളത്തിലെ ഏക ക്ഷേത്രമാണ് അയ്യൻചിറങ്ങര ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം. തെക്കോട്ടു ദർശനമായാണ് ദേവിമാരുടെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠ.
ഉഗ്രരൂപിണിയായ ഭദ്രകാളിയും, അതി പ്രസന്നവദനമായ ദുർഗ്ഗാ ദേവിയും ഭക്തർക്കു കരുണാനിധിയായ് ഇവിടെ വാഴുന്നു.ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ഉപദേവതകളായി ശാസ്താവ്, മഹാവിഷ്ണു, ഗണപതി, നാഗദേവതകൾ എന്നിവയും പ്രതിഷ്ഠയുള്ളവയാണ്. മകരമാസത്തിലെ ഭരണി നാളിൽ ഇവിടെ തിരുവുത്സവം അത്യന്തം ഭക്തിപൂർവ്വം ആചരിക്കുന്നു. ഉത്സവകാലത്ത് ദേവിമാരുടെ ഇഷ്ടവഴിപ്പാടുകളായ കളമെഴുത്ത്, പാട്ട്, അനുഷ്ഠാനകലയായ മുടിയേറ്റ് എന്നിവ ആണ്ടുതോറും നടത്തിവരുന്നു.
