Kadungalloor Sri Bhuvaneshwari Temple, located in Kadungalloor near Aluva, Ernakulam district, is a revered shrine with a history of over 800 years.
The temple's Devi Puja, which began as an individual practice, eventually led to the establishment of this sacred space dedicated to Goddess Bhuvaneshwari. The temple is home to various sub-deities, including Lord Ganapathi, Lord Sri Ayyappan, Lord Subrahmanya, Lord Dhanvanthari, Lord Hanuman, Lord Shiva, Nagayakshi, Nagaraja, Bramharakshas, Sree Veerabhadra, Kappiri, Ghantakarnan, Swapnayakshi, Vishwayakshi, and Vadayakshi, all enshrined with ceremonial reverence.
Annual Thiruvutsavam festival is celebrated in the Malayalam month of Meenam (March-April), beginning with the flag hoisting on Thiruvonam star day and concluding with the Aarattu on Rohini star day. Tuesdays hold special spiritual significance, attracting hundreds of devotees, especially women, who gather for mass prayers and offerings. It is a firm belief that those who successfully participate in this puja for 21 consecutive Tuesdays receive Abheeshtakarya Prapthi, the fulfillment of their heartfelt desires.
The temple remains open for darshan from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM in the morning and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the evening. However, on Tuesdays and Fridays, the morning darshan extends until 12:00 Noon, accommodating the large number of devotees who visit on these auspicious days.

എല്ലാ ചൊവ്വാഴ്ചകളും വിശേഷദിവസമായി ആചരിക്കുന്നു, അന്നേദിവസം നൂറുകണക്കിന് ഭക്തർ, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് സ്ത്രീജനങ്ങൾ, വിശേഷ പൂജകളിലും സമൂഹാർച്ചനകളിലും പങ്കെടുത്ത് ദേവിയുടെ അനുഗ്രഹം തേടുന്നു. വിശ്വാസപ്രകാരം, തുടർച്ചയായി 21 ചൊവ്വാഴ്ചകൾ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ എത്തി വഴിപാടു കഴിച്ചാൽ അഭീഷ്ട കാര്യപ്രാപ്തി ഉണ്ടാകും.
ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ ദർശനസമയം രാവിലെ 5:00 മുതൽ 10:00 വരെ, വൈകിട്ട് 5:00 മുതൽ 8:00 വരെ ആണെങ്കിലും, ചൊവ്വാഴ്ചയും വെള്ളിയാഴ്ചയും ഉച്ചപൂജ 12:00 മണിക്ക് ശേഷമായിരിക്കും നടത്തുക.
