Kannankulangara Sreekrishna Temple North Paravur Ernakulam

Kannankulangara Sreekrishna Temple also houses Upadevathas such as Sri Ganapathi Bhagavan, Naga Devathas, and Brahma Rakshas. The 10-day annual festival is celebrated with great devotion, culminating in the Arattu on the Thiruvonam Nakshatra day in the Makaram month.

Sreekovil (sanctum sanctorum) is round in shape, showcasing the traditional Kerala temple architecture. A prominent feature of the temple is its gold-plated flag post (Dwajasthambam).One of the main attractions of the festival is the Kazhcha Sreebali, where five or more caparisoned elephants take part in a grand procession. The event is further enriched by Panchari Melam, Nadaswaram, Pandi Melam, and Panchavadyam, creating a vibrant and divine atmosphere. The final day of the festival is marked by Arattu Sadhya, Kodiyerakkal (flag-lowering ceremony), and Arattu Purappadu (holy procession to the temple pond), making it a spiritually uplifting and visually spectacular event for devotees.

ഉപദേവതകളായി മഹാഗണപതി, നാഗദേവത, ബ്രഹ്മരക്ഷസ് എന്നിവരുടെ സാന്നിധ്യവും ഇവിടുണ്ട്. 10 ദിവസത്തെ വാർഷിക ഉത്സവം വളരെ ഗംഭീരമായാണ് ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നത്. കൂടാതെ അഷ്ടമി രോഹിണിയും വിപുലമായ രീതിയിൽ കൊണ്ടാടുന്നു. ഭക്തർ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നത് അനുസരിച്ച്, വിവാഹതടസങ്ങൾ നീങ്ങാനും, സന്താനസൌഭാഗ്യം ലഭിക്കാനുമുള്ള ദർശനക്ഷേത്രമാണ് കണ്ണൻകുളങ്ങര.
