വലിയവിളക്ക് മഹോൽസവം ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ഉത്സവങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ്. ഈ മഹോത്സവത്തിൽ തൃക്കൊടിയേറ്റ്, ഗണപതി ഹോമം, കലശാഭിഷേകം, കലഭം, ദീപാരാധന, പ്രസാദം ഓട്ട് എന്നിവ ഉള്‍പ്പെടെ വിവിധ പൂജകളും ആചാരങ്ങളും ഭക്തിപൂർവം നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു. മഹോത്സവത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി വലിയ ശോഭയാത്രകളും ആചാരപരമായ ചടങ്ങുകളും നടക്കുന്നുണ്ടാവും, ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾക്കായി ഈ മഹോത്സവം ദൈവിക അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ കൈവരിക്കാൻ ഉത്സാഹഭരിതമായ ഒരു അന്തരീക്ഷം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു.
