Paliam Sree Krishna Temple is located in Chendamangalam near North Paravur in Ernakulam district, Kerala. The main deity worshipped in the temple is Lord Sree Krishna.
Paliyam Sree Krishna Temple is situated on a small hill, and the idol faces east. The deity is approximately 4 feet tall.
The Upa Devatas (sub-deities) worshipped in the temple include Lord Ayyappan and Nagam.
According to historical records, the temple was originally built by the Villarvattam king for the women of his palace to perform worship. The temple was initially known as Govindapuram. When the Villarvattam Swaroopam (dynasty) became extinct, the temple came under the administration of Paliyathachan.
It is believed that there was once a secret tunnel connecting the temple to Paliam Palace.

എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയിലെ വടക്കൻ പറവൂരിലെ ബാങ്ക് കവലയിൽ നിന്ന് അഞ്ച് കിലോമീറ്റർ വടക്കോട്ട് സഞ്ചരിച്ചാൽ ചേന്ദമംഗലത്ത് എത്താം. അവിടെയാണ് പാലിയം ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണ ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. ചേന്ദമംഗലത്തെ പ്രധാന ദേവക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നായി ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. ഗ്രാമത്തിന്റെ ഹൃദയഭാഗത്ത് കിഴക്കോട്ട് ദർശനമായി ക്ഷേത്രം നിലനിൽക്കുന്നു.ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന് നാല് ഗോപുരങ്ങളുള്ളതും അതിന്റെ പ്രത്യേകതകളിലൊന്നാണ്.
കിഴക്കേ ഗോപുരത്തിനോട് ചേർന്നും പടിഞ്ഞാറേ ഗോപുരത്തിനോട് ചേർന്നും വലിയ ക്ഷേത്രകുളങ്ങളുണ്ട്. വിശാലമായ ക്ഷേത്രമതിൽക്കകത്ത് പച്ചപ്പാർന്ന പരിസരമാണ് കാഴ്ചവിസ്മയമാവുന്നത്. കിഴക്കേ ഗോപുര കവാടത്തിന് സമീപം ഒരു വൻ അരയാൽമരവും ഉണ്ട്, ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾക്ക് അതിവിശുദ്ധമായ വിശ്രമസ്ഥലമായി ഇത് മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നു.
ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ എല്ലാ വിശേഷദിവസങ്ങളും പ്രാധാന്യമുള്ളവയാണ്. പ്രധാന ഉത്സവങ്ങളിലൊന്നായ വിഷു, ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണജയന്തി എന്നിവ ആഘോഷപൂർവം നടന്നു വരുന്നു. ഈ ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ നാടിന്റെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് നിരവധി ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾ ക്ഷേത്രദർശനത്തിനായി എത്തുന്നു.
