Puthoorppilly Sreekrishna Temple is located in Manjapra, a small village in Ernakulam District, Kerala, India.
This temple is a protected monument under the Kerala Archaeological Department. The presiding deity of the temple is Lord Krishna, and it is also known as Kallambalam. The temple features a stone sanctum sanctorum surrounded by the water-rich Puthurppilly Chira, which is steeped in historical significance and legends.
It is believed that the shrine was carved out of granite by the demons of the Lord. The temple is managed by the Travancore Devaswom Board and remains under the protection of the Kerala Archaeological Department. Annual festival, celebrated in the Malayalam month of Makaram on the day of Thiruvonam, lasts for 10 days and includes various traditional programs and rituals.

കേരളത്തിലെ എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയിലെ മഞ്ഞപ്ര ഗ്രാമത്തിലാണ് പുത്തൂർപ്പിള്ളി ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണ ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. കേരള പുരാവസ്തു വകുപ്പിന്റെ സംരക്ഷണത്തിലുള്ള സ്മാരകങ്ങളിലൊന്നായ ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം 'കല്ലമ്പലം' എന്ന പേരിലും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണൻ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠയായ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ശ്രീകോവിൽ ശിലാനിർമ്മിതമാണെന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. വട്ടെഴുത്ത് ലിപികളും സമൃദ്ധമായ ജലാശയമായ പുത്തൂർപ്പിള്ളിചിറയും ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തോടൊപ്പം ചരിത്ര- ഐതിഹ്യ ഘടിതമായ കഥകളുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.
ഭഗവാന്റെ ഭൂതഗണങ്ങൾ കരിങ്കല്ലിൽ കൊത്തിയെടുത്തതാണെന്നു കരുതപ്പെടുന്ന ശ്രീകോവിലിന് പ്രത്യേക പൗരാണിക മഹത്വമുണ്ട്. ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന ഉത്സവങ്ങളിൽ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണ ജയന്തിക്കു ശേഷം ഏറ്റവും പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ടത് മകരമാസത്തിലെ തിരുവോണനാളിൽ കൊടിയേറ്റം ചെയ്ത് ആരംഭിച്ച് വിവിധ സാംസ്കാരിക- ആചാരപരിപാടികളോടെ 10 ദിവസം നീണ്ടുനിൽക്കുന്ന തിരുവുത്സവമാണ്.
