Sree Narayanamangalam Temple is situated around 6 km from North Paravur on the Kodungallur National Highway in Ernakulam district.
Built in the early 20th century under the guidance of Sree Narayana Guru, this temple is one of the prominent landmarks of Moothakunnam. The presiding deity is Sri Sankaranarayana Murthy, a divine fusion of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu.
Located along the banks of a tributary of the Periyar River, the temple is owned and managed by the Hindu Matha Dharma Paripalana (HMDP) Sabha. The temple is particularly renowned for its grand celebrations of Thaipooyam and the annual festival held during the month of Makaram (January–February).

എറണാകുളം ജില്ലയിലെ വടക്കൻ പറവൂരിൽ നിന്ന് കൊടുങ്ങല്ലൂർ ദേശീയപാത വഴി ഏകദേശം 6 കിലോമീറ്റർ സഞ്ചരിച്ചാൽ മൂത്തകുന്നത്ത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ശ്രീ നാരായണമംഗലം ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെത്താനാകും. ഇരുപതാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിന്റെ തുടക്കത്തിൽ ശ്രീനാരായണ ഗുരുദേവന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ പണികഴിപ്പിച്ച ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം മൂത്തകുന്നത്തിൻറെ പ്രധാന ആരാധനാലയങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ്.
ഇവിടത്തെ മുഖ്യ പ്രതിഷ്ഠ ശ്രീ ശങ്കരനാരായണമൂർത്തിയാണ്, അഥവാ ശിവനും മഹാവിഷ്ണുവും ഏകത്വമായ പ്രത്യക്ഷത കൈക്കൊള്ളുന്ന ദേവതാരൂപം. ക്ഷേത്രം പെരിയാറിൻറെ കൈവഴിയുടെ തീരത്തായി മനോഹരമായ സ്ഥലത്ത് നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു. ഹിന്ദു മത ധർമ്മ പരിപാലന സഭ (HMDP Sabha) ആണ് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ നടത്തിപ്പ് മേൽനോട്ടം വഹിക്കുന്നത്.
മകരമാസത്തിൽ ആഘോഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന തൈപ്പൂയ മഹോത്സവവും പതിനൊന്ന് ദിവസങ്ങളോളം നീണ്ടുനിലക്കുന്ന വാർഷിക ഉത്സവവും ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന ആകർഷണങ്ങളാണ്.
