Kanjirakat Mahadeva temple is situated in the village of Vannapuram, within the Idukki district. The principal deity of the temple is Lord Mahadeva.

The Kanjirakkat Mahadeva Temple observes several significant festivals, including Mahashivaratri and Uthratathi Mahotsavam during the month of Kumbham, as well as Pongala, which is associated with Uthratathi Mahotsavam.
Additionally, ThiruArattu day features a vibrant procession from Kaliyar Arattukadavu to the temple, accompanied by Rathotsavam. Other notable celebrations include Thiruvathira in the month of Dhanu, Vinayaka Chaturthi in Chingam, and Vijayadashami, which marks the commencement of education in Kannimasam. The month of Vrischikam is celebrated with Karthikavilak, while Vruschikam and Dhanu witness the Mandala Pooja and the Shastam song. Lastly, Karkkidakam is marked by Karkkidakavavubali.
