Nataylkav Bhagavathy Temple is a renowned temple dedicated to Bhagavathy, situated close to the Vengallur junction in the vicinity of Thodupuzha city, within the Idukki district.
The sanctum, adorned with copper, features a 5-foot tall idol of Bhagavathy crafted from Varikapalvu. A mirror image is positioned before the idol, serving as the archana representation. The Vetala is vigilantly protected by encircling the deity in a fixed manner.
The festival is celebrated with great reverence on Bharani day during the month of Meenam.
Key events of the temple include the Kumbhakuta procession on Bharani day, Pakalpuram, and Bharani darshan. The sub-deities worshipped include Ganapati, Bhuvaneshwari, Ghandakarnan, Nagaraja, Nagayakshi, Shiva, Vishnu, Shasta, Rakshas, and Khelpad. വേതാള കണ്ഠസ്ഥിതമായ പ്രതിഷ്ഠയിൽ ചാന്താട്ടം നടത്തി സംരക്ഷണം നടത്തുന്നു.
മീനമാസത്തിലെ ഭരണിനാളിൽ ഉത്സവം സമുചിതമായി ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു. ഭരണി നാളിലെ കുംഭകുട ഘോഷയാത്ര, പകൽപ്പൂർ, ഭരണിദർശനം എന്നിവ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന ചടങ്ങുകളാണ്. ഗണപതി, ഭുവനേശ്വരി, ഘണ്ടാകർണൻ, നാഗരാജാവ്, നാഗയക്ഷി, ശിവൻ, വിഷ്ണു, ശാസ്താവ്, രക്ഷസ്, വെളിച്ചപ്പാട് എന്നിവ ഉപദേവതമാരായി ആരാധിക്കുന്നു. പ്രതിഷ്ഠദിനം, നവരാത്രി, മണ്ഡലകാലം എന്നിവയും ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു.
