Eeshanamangalam Sree Maha Vishnu Temple is a renowned Hindu temple located in Kannur, Kerala.

During this ritual, the temple’s storehouse is filled with grains, vegetables, and other essential provisions collected from different places. ഈശാനമംഗലം ശ്രീ മഹാവിഷ്ണു ക്ഷേത്രം
പരശുരാമൻ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചുവെന്ന്‌ വിശ്വസിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു പുരാതന ക്ഷേത്രമാണ് ഈശാനമംഗലം ശ്രീ മഹാവിഷ്ണു ക്ഷേത്രം. കണ്ണൂർ ജില്ലയിലെ തളിപ്പറമ്പ് താലൂക്കിൽ ചേലേരി വില്ലേജിലാണ്‌ ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. ഐതിഹ്യങ്ങളനുസരിച്ച്‌ പരശുരാമൻ സൃഷ്ടിച്ച അറുപത്തിനാലു ബ്രാഹ്മണ ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് ഈശാനമംഗലം. മംഗലശ്ശേരി ഇല്ലവും പന്നിയോട്ട് ഇല്ലവും എന്നീ രണ്ട് നമ്പൂതിരി കുടുംബങ്ങളുടെ പാരമ്പര്യ ഊരായ്മയിലുള്ളതുമാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം. കേരളത്തിലെ അറുപത്തിനാലു നമ്പൂതിരി ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ യജുർവേദ പ്രധാനമായ ഗ്രാമമായി ഈശാനമംഗലം അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു.
ഉത്സവം കലവറ നിറയ്ക്കൽ ചടങ്ങോടെ ആരംഭിക്കുന്നു, ഇതിൽ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ സംഭരണശാലയിൽ വിവിധ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ധാന്യങ്ങൾ, കായക്കറികൾ, മറ്റ് ആവശ്യമായ സാധനങ്ങൾ നിറയ്ക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. ഈ സാധനങ്ങൾ ഉത്സവദിവസങ്ങളിൽ ഭക്തികൾക്കായി ഭക്ഷണം തയ്യാറാക്കാൻ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു, ഇത് സമുദായ പങ്കുവെപ്പ്, സമൃദ്ധി എന്നിവയെ പ്രതിനിധീകരിക്കുന്നു.വൃശ്ചികത്തിൽ നടക്കുന്ന അരാധന മഹോത്സവത്തിൽ ആചരിക്കുന്ന ഭഗവത സപ്തഹ യജ്ഞം, കേരളത്തിലെ ഒരു പവിത്രമായ ഏഴുദിവസത്തെ ചടങ്ങാണ്.
