Alumkunnil Mahadev Temple is a historic site situated in Poovatoor West, which is one of the three regions of Poovatur village in the Kottarakkara taluk, located in the northern part of the Kollam district.
Alumkunnil Mahadev Temple is an ancient temple dedicated to Sree Mahadev. The temple also houses sub-deities such as Ganapati and Dharmashastav, who have been re-consecrated. The temple holds historical significance and continues to be a place of worship for devotees who come to seek blessings from Lord Mahadev and the other deities.
