Elangathu Sree Bhagavathi Temple is a renowned temple dedicated to Goddess Bhadrakali, situated in Tirumullavaram within the Kollam district.
The temple is located 1.5 kilometers from Kollam Tirumullavaram and 1 kilometer from Ramankulangara. The primary event at this temple is the Saraswathi Puja, which is observed during the Navratri festival. This puja occurs in the month of Kanni, which corresponds to September-October. A significant number of devotees visit to honor the goddess throughout the nine-day Navratri-Vijayadasami celebration. On Vijayadashami, the final day of Navratri, the Vidyarambham ceremony is conducted, during which children are encouraged to write. Additionally, a cultural fair featuring music and dance takes place at the temple over the nine days of the festival.

ഇളങ്ങത്ത് ശ്രീഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയിലെ തിരുമുല്ലവാരത്തിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു പ്രശസ്ത ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രമാണ്. ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം ഭദ്രകാളിക്ക് സമർപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. കൊല്ലം തിരുമുല്ലവാരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് 1.5 കിലോമീറ്ററും രാമൻകുളങ്ങരയിൽ നിന്ന് 1 കിലോമീറ്ററും ദൂരമുണ്ട്. മഹാനവമിയുടെ സമയത്ത് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം പ്രത്യേക ശ്രദ്ധ നേടുന്നു. നവരാത്രിയോടനുബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള പ്രധാന വിശേഷം സരസ്വതീപൂജയാണ്, ഇത് കന്നിമാസത്തിൽ (സെപ്റ്റംബർ-ഒക്ടോബർ) നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു. നവരാത്രി-വിജയദശമി മഹോത്സവത്തിനായി നിരവധി ഭക്തർ ദേവിയെ കാണാൻ എത്തുന്നു. നവരാത്രിയുടെ അവസാന ദിവസമായ വിജയദശമിയിൽ കുട്ടികളുടെ വിദ്യാരംഭം ചടങ്ങ് നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു. ഉത്സവത്തിന്റെ ഒൻപതു ദിവസവും സംഗീത-നൃത്തങ്ങളുടെ സാംസ്കാരിക മേളയും നടക്കുന്നു.
