Mathira Kadaloor Siva temple is located in close proximity to Puthur, within the Kottarakkara taluk of the Kollam district. This temple is devoted to Mahadeva.
Separate temples exist for the sub-deities Ganapati, Shasta, and Nagaraja. The Kadaloor Madom Shiva Temple, which has stood for decades, is currently undergoing renovations due to its deteriorating condition. With the blessings of the Lord and the generous contributions from devotees and temple authorities, significant progress has been made, enhancing the temple's spiritual atmosphere. കടലൂർമഠം ശിവ ക്ഷേത്രം
മതിര എന്നത് കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയിലെ കൊട്ടാരക്കര താലൂക്കിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു മനോഹര ഗ്രാമമാണ്. ഇവിടെ പുരാതനമായ മതിര കടലൂർമാം ശിവക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നു. തിരുവിതാംകൂർ ദേവസ്വം ബോർഡിന്റെ പുനലൂർ ഗ്രൂപ്പിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം പതിറ്റാണ്ടുകളോളം പഴക്കമുള്ളതാണ്. നാടിന്റെ സമ്പത്തുകൾക്കു കാരണമായ ശ്രീ മഹാദേവനാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന് സമർപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
