The main deity here is Sri Mahadev. This historic temple is a revered spot where numerous devotees come to perform Bali tarpanam during the Karkitaka month. മുണ്ടക്കൽ ജംഗ്ഷനിൽ നിന്നും ഏകദേശം ഒരു കിലോമീറ്റർ പടിഞ്ഞാറ് യാത്രചെയ്താൽ കളരിയിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ശ്രീ മഹാദേവ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെത്താം. മുണ്ടക്കൽ ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലേക്ക് പോകുന്ന വഴിയിലാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. ഐശ്വര്യ സമൃദ്ധി, സർവ്വാഭീഷ്ട സിദ്ധി, സർവ്വദോഷ പരിഹാരം എന്നിവയ്ക്കായി ഭക്തർ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പൗരാണിക പുണ്യ സങ്കേതമാണ് കളരിയിൽ ശ്രീ മഹാദേവ ക്ഷേത്രം. ശ്രീ പരമേശ്വരന്റെ തിരുസന്നിധിയിൽ പൂജാദികർമ്മങ്ങൾ നടത്തപ്പെടുന്ന സമയത്ത് ദർശനം നടത്തിയാൽ ഐശ്വര്യവും ഈശ്വര സാക്ഷാൽക്കാരവും ലഭിക്കുമെന്നു ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾ വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു. പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠ ശ്രീ മഹാദേവനാണ്. കർക്കിടക മാസത്തിലെ കറുത്തവാവിന് ബലി തർപ്പണത്തിനായി നിരവധി ഭക്തർ ഈ പുരാതന ക്ഷേത്ര സന്നിധിയിൽ എത്തിച്ചേരുന്നു.ശിവരാത്രി പ്രധാനമായ ഒരു വിശേഷദിവസമാണ്. മറ്റ് എല്ലാ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിലെയും പോലെ, ഈ ദിവസം ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ആചരിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
