Kunniradath Malanada Temple is devoted to Dussala and is located in Naduvilemuri, situated to the north of Sooranad in the Kollam district.
Dussala was the sole sister among the Kauravas, the only daughter born to a hundred brothers. Her true name is 'Susala,' and she is the daughter of Dhritarashtra and Gandhari. The temple dedicated to Goddess Dussala is set against a stunning backdrop of rolling hills, expansive valleys, and towering elevations. This temple is likely the only one dedicated to Dusshala in India. Unlike other temples, it lacks a sanctum sanctorum, enclosure, or idol; it features merely a flat floor. The temple's legend is intertwined with the narrative of the Mahabharata. The Malakuda festival takes place at the base of the hill in Kunnirad during the month of Meenam, and the Sapthayanjam event is also held annually.
കുന്നിരാടത്ത് മലനട ക്ഷേത്രം
