Kuzhiyathukavu Sree Mahadevi Temple is situated in Keralapuram Edavattam, approximately 2.9 kilometers away from Keralapuram, Kollam District of Kerala.
The temple is dedicated to Adi Parashakti, the supreme creator of the universe, and Lord Krishna, who is worshiped with equal reverence. The temple's major festivals include the seven-day Ayilya Mahotsavam and Rohini Mahotsavam, celebrated during the month of Kumbham. Kuzhiyathukavilamma, the presiding deity of Kuzhiyathukavu Nadu, draws numerous devotees, especially for the Ayilya Pongala festival. The temple also observes an annual dedication ceremony for Devi, Lord Krishna, and the sub-deities during the month of Mithunam. Other significant celebrations include the Pooram festival in Meenam, Karthika Vilakku in Vruschikam, and Navratri Vidyarambham in Thulaam.

കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയിലെ കേരളപുരം ഇടവട്ടത്തിലാണ് പ്രശസ്തമായ കുഴിയത്തുകാവ് ശ്രീ മഹാദേവി ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. കേരളപുരത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഏകദേശം 2.9 കിലോമീറ്റർ ദൂരെയുള്ള ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം സർവ്വപ്രപഞ്ചത്തിന്റെയും ഉടയവളായ ആദിപരാശക്തിക്കായി സമർപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. പരാശക്തിയോടൊപ്പം ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണനെയും തുല്യ പ്രാധാന്യത്തോടെ ഇവിടെ ആരാധിക്കുന്നു.

കുംഭമാസത്തിലെ ഏഴ് ദിവസത്തെ ആയില്യ മഹോത്സവവും രോഹിണി മഹോത്സവവും ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ വലിയ ആഘോഷത്തോടെയാണ് കുഴിയത്ത് നാട്ടുകാർ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നത്. ആയില്യ മഹോത്സവത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള പൊങ്കാല ചടങ്ങിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാൻ നാനാഭാഗത്തുനിന്നും ധാരാളം ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾ എത്തിച്ചേരുന്നു. മിഥുനമാസത്തിലാണ് ദേവിയുടെയും ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണന്റെയും കൂടാതെ മറ്റ് ഉപദേവതകളുടെയും പ്രതിഷ്ഠാ വാർഷികം. ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ മറ്റ് പ്രധാന ആഘോഷങ്ങൾ മീനമാസത്തിലെ പൂരോത്സവം, വൃശ്ചികമാസത്തിലെ കാർത്തിക വിളക്ക്, തുലാമാസത്തിലെ നവരാത്രി മഹോത്സവവും വിദ്യാരംഭ ചടങ്ങുകളും ആണ്.
