Muthupilakadu Sri Parthasarathy Temple is situated in Poruvathi Mutupilakkad within the Kollam district. It is approximately 5.7 kilometers from Kollam Shastamkota. Mutupilakkad Sri Parthasarathy Temple is recognized as one of the historic Sri Krishna temples in Kerala.
Sri Parthasarathy serves as the principal deity. Krishna, recognized as Arjuna's charioteer during the Mahabharata conflict, is referred to as Parthasarathy. The festival takes place in the month of Meenam, specifically on Ashtami Rohini. The associated deities include Sree Dharma Sastha, Yakhi Amma, Madan Thampuran, Kazhuvidayan, and Brahmarakshas. Krishna, who was Arjuna's charioteer in the Mahabharata war, is known by the name Parthasarathy.

കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയിലെ പോരുവഴി മുതുപിലാക്കാട് എന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ക്ഷേത്രം, കൊല്ലം ശാസ്താംകോട്ടയിൽ നിന്നും 5.7 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയാണ്. കേരളത്തിലെ പുരാതന ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നായ മുതുപിലാക്കാട് ശ്രീ പാർത്ഥസാരഥി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠ ശ്രീ പാർത്ഥസാരഥിയാണ്. മഹാഭാരതയുദ്ധത്തിൽ അർജ്ജുനന്റെ തേരാളിയായ കൃഷ്ണന് പാർത്ഥസാരഥി എന്ന പേര് ലഭിച്ചു. മീനമാസത്തിൽ അഷ്ടമി രോഹിണി ഉത്സവം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു. ശ്രീ ധർമ്മ ശാസ്താ, യക്ഷിഅമ്മ, മാടൻ തമ്പുരാൻ, കഴുവിടയൻ, ബ്രഹ്മരക്ഷസ് എന്നിവരാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ഉപദേവതകൾ.
