Mylamkulam Sree Durga Devi Temple is situated in Mylamkulam, within the Kulakkada Panchayath of Kollam District.
At the Mylamkulam Shri Durgadevi Temple, Goddess Devi is worshipped in the form of Durga, embodying the force that protects all living beings by destroying terror and evil forces that threaten the universe. The temple is managed by the Mylamkulam Shri Durgadevi Gramodharana Sangham, with a committee elected by the Sangham overseeing temple administration. The temple’s annual festival, known as Uthram Thirunal Mahotsavam, is celebrated over three days—Makam, Pooram, and Uthram—in the month of Meenam (March-April).
The main attractions of this vibrant festival include Pongala, Brahmarathotsavam (chariot festival), Ezhunnallath (procession), Kettukazhcha (decorated structures), various art shows, traditional music accompaniments (Vadya Melam), and a grand display of fireworks. In addition to the annual festival, several special days are also celebrated at the temple. The Mandalavilakku Mahotsav, a 41-day festival during the Mandala season, is marked by special poojas and rituals. Other important observances include Navaratri, Poojavayappu, Vidyarambham, Vrischika Karthika, and Makaravilakku, each celebrated with devotion and special rituals.

മൈലംകുളം ശ്രീ ദുർഗ്ഗാദേവീ ക്ഷേത്രം കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയിലെ കുളക്കട പഞ്ചായത്തിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രധാന ദേവീക്ഷേത്രമാണ്. പുത്തൂരിൽ നിന്നും ആറ്റുവാശേരിയിൽ നിന്നും ഏകദേശം 2.5 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം. ശ്രീ ദുർഗ്ഗാദേവിക്ക് സമർപ്പിതമായ ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം, മൈലംകുളം ശ്രീ ദുർഗ്ഗാദേവീ ഗ്രാമോദ്ധാരണ സംഘത്തിൻറെ കീഴിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്നു, ഒരു തെരഞ്ഞെടുക്കപ്പെട്ട കമ്മിറ്റിയാണ് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ ഭരണകാര്യങ്ങൾ നിർവ്വഹിക്കുന്നത്. മൈലംകുളത്തമ്മയായി അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ദുർഗ്ഗാ ദേവി, ശിവശക്തിയായ ആദിപരാശക്തിയുടെ ഒരു രൂപമാണ്. ഈ ദേവി ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾക്ക് ഐശ്വര്യം, സുഖസമ്പത്ത് നൽകുകയും, ദുരിതങ്ങൾ നശിപ്പിക്കുകയും, ആപത്തിൽ രക്ഷയും അനുസമ്പത്തും പ്രദാനം ചെയ്യുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
മൈലംകുളം ശ്രീ ദുർഗ്ഗാദേവീ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന വാർഷിക ഉത്സവം "ഉത്രം തിരുനാൾ മഹോത്സവം" എന്ന പേരിൽ മീനമാസത്തിലെ മകം, പൂരം, ഉത്രം ദിവസങ്ങളിലായി ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു. ഉത്സവത്തിന്റെ പ്രധാന ആകർഷണങ്ങൾ പൊങ്കാല, ബ്രഹ്മരഥോത്സവം, എഴുന്നള്ളത്ത്, കെട്ടുകാഴ്ച, കലാപരിപാടികൾ, വാദ്യമേളങ്ങൾ, വെടിക്കെട്ട്, ദീപക്കാഴ്ച എന്നിവയാണ്. ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ എല്ലാ വിശേഷ ദിനങ്ങളും ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു. മണ്ഡലകാലത്ത് 41 ദിവസങ്ങളോളം മണ്ഡലവിളക്ക് മഹോത്സവം നടത്തി വരുന്നു. 2023 ഡിസംബർ 31-ന് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ സഹസ്രനാമ സമൂഹ കുങ്കുമാർച്ചനയും നടക്കുന്നു. അതോടൊപ്പം, നവരാത്രി, പൂജവയ്പ്പ്, വിദ്യാരംഭം, വൃശ്ചിക കാർത്തിക, മകരവിളക്ക് തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രത്യേക ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ വിശേഷ പൂജകളും ആഘോഷങ്ങളും ഉണ്ടാകുന്നു.
