Trikoikal Sri MahaVishnu Mahadevar Temple is situated in close proximity to Kundara within the Kollam district.
MahaVishnu and Mahadev hold equal significance within this temple. The temple observes all notable days linked to Lord Vishnu and Lord Mahadev with great reverence. The annual festival culminates in eight days of activities, commencing with Trikkodiyettu and concluding with Trikkodiyirakku, following the rituals of Pallivetta and Aarattu. During this festival, the temple hosts special poojas, communal feasts, spiritual discourses, dances, ezhunnallippu, and kettukazhcha. Sri Ganapati, the Devi, and the Naga deities are enshrined in the temple as subordinate divinities. The nine-day Navratri Puja, which occurs during the month of Thulam, along with the initiation of vidyarambham, is celebrated with great enthusiasm and a variety of artistic performances.

കൊല്ലം ജില്ലയിലെ കുണ്ടറയ്ക്ക് സമീപം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഗ്രാമമാണ് പെരുമ്പുഴ. ഈ ഗ്രാമത്തിന്റെ പഴയ പേര് കുരണ്ടിപള്ളിമുക്ക് എന്നായിരുന്നു. ഇവിടെ പുരാതന തൃക്കോയിക്കൽ ശ്രീ മഹാവിഷ്ണു മഹാദേവർ ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം കോയിക്കൽ രാജവംശത്തിന്റെ അധീനതയിൽ ഉള്ളതായിരുന്നു. മഹാവിഷ്ണുവിനും മഹാദേവനും ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ സമാനമായ പ്രാധാന്യം നൽകപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്. മഹാവിഷ്ണുവിനും, മഹാദേവനുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട എല്ലാ വിശേഷദിവസങ്ങളും ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ഭക്തിപൂർവ്വം ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു.
ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ വാർഷിക ഉത്സവം എട്ടുദിവസത്തെ പരിപാടികളോടെ സമാപിക്കുന്നു. തൃക്കൊടിയേറ്റോടെ ആരംഭിച്ച്, പള്ളിവേട്ടയും ആറാട്ടും കഴിഞ്ഞ്, തൃക്കൊടിയിറക്കത്തോടെ അവസാനിക്കുന്നു. വിശേഷാൽ പൂജകൾ, സമൂഹസദ്യ, ആധ്യാത്മികപ്രഭാഷണങ്ങൾ, നൃത്തനൃത്ത്യങ്ങൾ, എഴുന്നള്ളിപ്പ്, കെട്ടുകാഴ്ച എന്നിവ ഉത്സവത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് ക്ഷേത്രസന്നിധിയിൽ നടക്കുന്നു. ശ്രീ ഗണപതിയും, ദേവിയും, നാഗദൈവങ്ങളും ഉപദേവതകളായി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ഉണ്ട്. തുലാമാസത്തിലെ ഒമ്പത് ദിവസത്തെ നവരാത്രി പൂജയും, വിദ്യാരംഭവും വിവിധ കലാപരിപാടികളോടെ വിപുലമായി ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു.
