Sri Narasimhaswamy Temple is a renowned temple dedicated to Narasimha Swamy, situated in the state of Kerala. This prominent temple can be found in the village of Aymanam, approximately 4.5 kilometers from the city of Kottayam.
Numerous offerings are available here aimed at healing ailments, vanquishing adversaries, and bestowing good fortune upon children. It is traditionally believed that Narasimha manifested in the evening, leading devotees to consider this time as the most auspicious for seeking his blessings.
Lord Sree Narasimha Swamy is an incarnation of the Hindu deity Vishnu, who appears in a form that is part lion and part human to eradicate evil, alleviate religious oppression, and restore order on Earth, thus reestablishing Dharma. Narasimha Jayanti, which celebrates the birth of Lord Narasimha, involves devotees participating in rituals such as Kalabhabhishekam, where the idol of the deity is consecrated with sacred materials, and Pushpabhishekam, where the deity is bathed in flowers as a sign of devotion, along with the offering of Parasadamoottu.
Thiru Ulsavam, an annual festival held during the month of Chingam, features lively celebrations and rituals at the Aymanam Narasimha Swami Temple, attracting devotees from various regions to join in the festive activities and seek the deity's blessings.
അയ്മനം ശ്രീ നരസിംഹ സ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രം
കേരളത്തിലെ പ്രശസ്തമായ നരസിംഹ സ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രം കോട്ടയം ജില്ലയിലെ അയ്മനത്തിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. കോട്ടയം പട്ടണത്തിൽ നിന്ന് 4.5 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെ ഉള്ള അയ്മനം ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. ഭക്തർക്ക് വേഗത്തിൽ പ്രസാദിക്കുന്ന പ്രതിഷ്ഠയാണ് നരസിംഹ സ്വാമിയുടേത്.

എന്നാൽ അയ്മനം ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ, വട്ടശ്രീകോവിലിൽ ഭഗവാൻ നരസിംഹാവതാരത്തിന്റെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠയോടെയാണ് സന്നിഹിതനാകുന്നത്. പ്രതിഷ്ഠക്കടുത്ത് ലക്ഷ്മീ ഭാവത്തിൽ ശ്രീചക്രം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. അതിനാൽ, ഇവിടെ ലക്ഷ്മീ നരസിംഹഭാവത്തിൽ ഭഗവാൻ വാസം ചെയ്യുന്നു. ശ്രീകോവിലിന്റെ മുന്നിലെ മണ്ഡപത്തിൽ ഭഗവാൻറെ വാഹനമായ ഗരുഡിന്റെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠയും കാണാം. നാലമ്പലത്തിനുള്ളിൽ ശാസ്താ പ്രതിഷ്ഠയും ഉണ്ട്. പ്രധാനമായും നരത്തല, ചതുശതം, പാനകം എന്നിവയാണ് ഭഗവാനെ സമർപ്പിക്കുന്ന വഴിപാടുകൾ.
