Choorakkavu Devi Temple, situated approximately 2 kilometers from the Kottayam Medical College Bus Stand in Kottayam, Kerala.
Choorakkavu Devi temple features a Kannadi Shila Pratishta. The principal festival celebrated at the temple occurs during Kumbha Bharani. Annual event is particularly renowned for its grand procession, culminating in the Arattu ceremony. Additionally, the temple is adorned with a gold-plated kodiparam. The sanctum sanctorum is designed in a square configuration, with the deity oriented towards the west.

കോട്ടയം ജില്ലയിൽ മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിന് സമീപം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന പുരാതന ക്ഷേത്രമാണ് ചൂരക്കാവ് ദേവീ ക്ഷേത്രം. ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജിൽ നിന്നും 2 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയായാണ് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. ചൂരക്കാവ് ദേവി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന ഉത്സവമായ കുംഭ ഭരണി മഹോത്സവം വലിയൊരു ഭക്തജനത്തെ ആകർഷിക്കുന്നു.
വാർഷികോത്സവത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള ഘോഷയാത്ര ശ്രദ്ധേയമാണ്. ആറാട്ടോടെയാണ് ഉത്സവം സമാപിക്കുന്നത്. ക്ഷേത്രത്തിനുള്ളിൽ സ്വർണ്ണം പൂശിയ ധ്വജം ഉണ്ട്. ശ്രീകോവിൽ ചതുരാകൃതിയിലാണ്, പടിഞ്ഞാറോട്ട് ദർശനമായാണ് പ്രതിഷ്ഠ. ചൂരക്കാവ് ദേവീ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ കണ്ണാടി ശില പ്രതിഷ്ഠയുണ്ട്.
