Kongandoor Sri Krishna Subramanya Swamy Temple is a historic temple situated 2.5 kilometers from Ayarkunnam in the Kottayam district, managed by the Travancore Devaswom Board.
Kongandoor Sri Krishna Subramanya Swamy Temple is devoted to Bhagavan Sri Krishna and Murugan, also known as Subrahmanian. It hosts the annual festivals of Thaipooyam and Ashtami Rohini. The structure features a chathura sreekovil oriented towards the east, situated on a circular platform.
Additionally, there are square sanctum sanctorums dedicated to Murugan and Ganapati.
Thaipooyam festival is particularly renowned for its grand procession. Other significant observances at the temple include Sashti, Ekadashi, Vishu, and Ramayana Masam.
