Mukkoottuthara Thiruvambadi SreeKrishna Swami temple is a traditional Hindu shrine designed in the Kerala architectural style, situated in close proximity to Mukkoottuthara within the Erumely panchayath of the Kottayam district.
Sree Krishna Swami serves as the principal deity of this temple, accompanied by other subordinate deities including Naga, Ayyappa, and Devi. Located just a few meters from the town, the temple stands as a significant landmark in Mukkoottuthara.
Thiruutsavam festival is celebrated from February 3rd to 8th, culminating in the Aarattu ceremony. Numerous rituals are conducted in conjunction with the festival. On the day of Aarattu, the idol of the deity is taken from the temple for ritual bathing. The Ghoshayathra, featuring fireworks and Chendamelam, is also a key highlight of the celebration, attracting many devotees who come to partake in the festivities.

മുക്കൂട്ടുതറയിൽ സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്ന തിരുവമ്പാടി ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണസ്വാമി ക്ഷേത്രം കോട്ടയം ജില്ലയിലെ എരുമേലി പഞ്ചായത്തിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണനാണ്, കൂടാതെ അയ്യപ്പൻ, ദേവി, നാഗർ എന്നിവരാണ് ഉപദേവതകൾ. ടൗണിൽ നിന്നും കുറച്ച് മീറ്ററുകൾ അകലെ, റബ്ബർ തോട്ടത്തിനുള്ളിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം മുക്കൂട്ടുതറയിലെ ഒരു പ്രധാന ആരാധനാലയമാണ്.
ഫെബ്രുവരി 3-ന് ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന ഉത്സവം 8-ന് ആറാട്ടോടെ സമാപിക്കുന്നു. ഉത്സവത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് ആറാട്ട് ബലി, ആറാട്ട് എഴുന്നളളിപ്പ്, ആറാട്ട് തിരുച്ചെഴുന്നെളളിപ്പ് എന്നിവ നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു. വിവിധ കരകളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള വർണ്ണാഭമായ ഘോഷയാത്ര ക്ഷേത്രപരിസരത്ത് സമാപിക്കുന്നു.
