മീനപ്പൂരമാണ് അമ്മയുടെ പ്രധാന ഉത്സവം. തുടർന്ന് മേടപ്പൂരവും നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു. കാവടിയാട്ടവും ഗരുഡൻവരവുമാണ് മേടപ്പൂരത്തിനുള്ള പ്രധാന ആകർഷണങ്ങൾ. മീനമാസത്തിലെ ഉത്സവം അവസാനിക്കുന്നതോടെ, സംതൃപ്തമായ ഭഗവതി പൂർണ്ണശക്തിയുള്ള ഭദ്രകാളീഭാവത്തിലേക്ക് മാറുന്നു. മേടപ്പൂരത്തിന് ഭക്തജനങ്ങൾ പ്രതീകാത്മകമായി കാവടിയാടി കലിതുള്ളിയുറഞ്ഞു ശാന്തരാകുന്നതിനൊപ്പം ദേവിയും ശാന്തയാകുന്നുവെന്നു പറയപ്പെടുന്നു.
