Nethalloor Sri Bhagavathi Temple is situated in close proximity to Karukachal, within the Kottayam district of Kerala.
Nethalloor Sri Bhagavathi Temple is renowned as one of the prominent Durga Bhagavathi shrines in Kerala. The installation of Bhagavathi Durga is represented in the form of Mahishasuramardini. It is recognized as one of the exquisite "chathurbahu" Bhagavathi installations in the region.
The principal festival celebrated at this temple is the "Thrikkarthika Maholsavam," which occurs in the month of "Vrischikam" (November-December), alongside the "Navarathri" festival.
The chief priest (Thanthri) of this temple is Sri Paramboor Illathu Neela Kandan Bhattathirippadu, while the management of the temple is overseen by Champakara NSS Karayogom.
നെത്തല്ലൂർ ശ്രീ ഭഗവതീ ക്ഷേത്രം
നെത്തല്ലൂർ ശ്രീ ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം ഇന്ത്യയിലെ കേരളത്തിലെ കോട്ടയം ജില്ലയിൽ കറുകച്ചാലിന്റെ സമീപത്താണ് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. ചങ്ങനാശ്ശേരി-വാഴൂർ, കോട്ടയം-പുനലൂർ സംസ്ഥാനപാതകൾ നെത്തല്ലൂർ ജംഗ്ഷനിൽ ഒന്നിക്കുന്നു; കോട്ടയത്തുനിന്ന് കറുകച്ചാൽ വഴി 19 കിലോമീറ്ററും, വാഴൂർ വഴി ചങ്ങനാശേരിയിൽ നിന്ന് 16 കിലോമീറ്ററും അകലമാണ്. കേരളത്തിലെ പ്രശസ്ത ദുർഗ്ഗാഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നായ ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം മഹിഷാസുരമർദിനിയുടെ രൂപത്തിൽ ഭഗവതി ദുർഗ്ഗയുടെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠയാണ്.
കേരളത്തിലെ മനോഹരമായ "ചതുർബാഹു" ഭഗവതി "പ്രതിഷ്ഠ"കളിൽ ഇതും ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു. ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന ഉത്സവം "വൃശ്ചികം" (നവം-ഡിസംബർ) മാസത്തിലെ "തൃക്കാർത്തിക മഹോൽസവം" ആണ്, കൂടാതെ മറ്റൊരു പ്രധാന ഉത്സവം "നവരാത്രി" ആണ്.
ശ്രീ പറമ്പൂർ ഇല്ലത്ത് നീലകണ്ഠൻ ഭട്ടതിരിപ്പാട് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ മുഖ്യാചാര്യനുമാണ് (തന്ത്രി), കൂടാതെ ചമ്പക്കര എൻഎസ്എസ് കരയോഗവും ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ മേൽനോട്ടം വഹിക്കുന്നു.
