Thirumanivenkidapuram Sri Ramaswamy Temple is situated in the village of Thirumanivenkidapuram, within the Kottayam district, alongside the shores of Vembanad Lake.
Sri Ramaswamy, regarded as the seventh avatar of Lord Vishnu, is believed to have resided in the temple following his defeat of the demon Khara. The temple also features sub-deities such as Ganapati, Hanuman, Shiva, Ayyappan, Goddess Durga, the Naga gods, and Brahmarakshas.
It is recognized as housing the largest Panchaloha idol in Kerala and stands as one of the significant temples dedicated to Lord Rama in the region. Thiruvonam marks the Arattu day of a ten-day festival celebrated in the month of Meenam.
Vaikom Mahadeva Temple is managed by the Travancore Devaswom Board and is one of the two Sri Ramaswamy temples overseen by this board. The temple's principal deity is regarded as Lord Rama; however, in essence, he is Chaturbahu Mahavishnu.

തിരുമണിവെങ്കിടപുരം ഗ്രാമം, കോട്ടയം ജില്ലയിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന തിരുമണിവെങ്കിടപുരം ശ്രീരാമസ്വാമിക്ഷേത്രം, വേമ്പനാട്ട് കായലിന്റെ തീരത്ത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. മഹാവിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ ഏഴാമത്തെ അവതാരമായ ശ്രീരാമസ്വാമി, ഖരവധത്തിനുശേഷം അത്യുഗ്രഭാവത്തിൽ ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ കുടികൊള്ളുന്നുവെന്നാണ് വിശ്വാസം.
ഗണപതി, ഹനുമാൻ, ശിവൻ, അയ്യപ്പൻ, ദുർഗ്ഗാദേവി, നാഗദൈവങ്ങൾ, ബ്രഹ്മരക്ഷസ്സ് എന്നിവരെ ഉപദേവതകളായി ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ആരാധിക്കുന്നു. മീനമാസത്തിൽ തിരുവോണം ആറാട്ടായി പത്തുദിവസം ഉത്സവം, ശ്രീരാമനവമി, രാമായണ മാസം, കർക്കടകവാവ് എന്നിവയാണ് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന ആണ്ടുവിശേഷങ്ങൾ.
ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന മൂർത്തി ശ്രീരാമനാണെങ്കിലും, യഥാർത്ഥത്തിൽ ചതുർബാഹുവായ മഹാവിഷ്ണുവാണ്. കേരളത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ പഞ്ചലോഹവിഗ്രഹമുള്ളതെന്ന് പറയപ്പെടുന്നു.
