Kothamangalam Sree Mahavishnu Temple Located in Koyilandy in Kozhikode stands as a symbol of resilience and devotion.

കോഴിക്കോട് ജില്ലയിലെ കൊയിലാണ്ടിയിൽ നിന്നും രണ്ട് മിനിറ്റ് മാത്രം യാത്രചെയ്താൽ എത്തിച്ചേരാനാകുന്നതാണ് കൊത്തമംഗലം ശ്രീ മഹാവിഷ്ണു ക്ഷേത്രം. ടിപ്പു സുൽത്താന്റെ മൈസൂർ സേന തകർത്ത ഹിന്ദുമത ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽപെട്ടതായിരുന്നു ഈ പ്രാചീന ദേവാലയം. പിന്നീട് വിശ്വാസികളുടെ അഭിമാനമായി ക്ഷേത്രം പുനരുജ്ജീവിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. വർഗ്ഗഭേദമന്യേ വിവിധ മത-ജാതിക്കാരും ഒരുപോലെ ആരാധനയ്ക്ക് എത്തുന്നതുമായ ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം സമുദായ ഐക്യത്തിന്റെ പ്രതീകവുമാണ്.
