Pattambi Guruvayoorappan Temple is located north of the Pattambi Railway Station, on the banks of the Bharathapuzha River in Palakkad district, Kerala.
The main deity worshipped here is Lord Guruvayoorappan, who faces east. The temple features gopurams (entrance towers) on its northern and western sides. Upa Devatas (sub-deities) worshipped in the temple include Lord Ganapathy, Lord Sastha, Nagaraja, Nagayakshi, and Goddess Bhagavathy.
Annual festival is celebrated from Makaram 1 to Makaram 8 (mid-January).
Prathishta (consecration) festival is observed on Vishu day in the Malayalam month of Medam (April). Other important festivals celebrated here include Navratri, Guruvayoor Ekadashi, and Kuchela Dinam.
According to legend, the revered swamiji of Parali Padinjare Madom, due to his old age, was unable to travel to the Guruvayoor Temple as he could not cross the Bharathapuzha River. Deeply saddened, he sat on the riverbank in sorrow. It is believed that Lord Guruvayoorappan appeared before the swamiji there, granting him a divine darshan on the riverbank itself.

പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലയിലെ പട്ടാമ്പി ടൗണിൽ, നിളാ നദിയോട് ചേർന്ന് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു സുപ്രധാന ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണക്ഷേത്രമാണ് പഠിഞ്ഞാറെമഠം ശ്രീ ഗുരുവായൂരപ്പൻ ക്ഷേത്രം.
ശ്രീ ഗുരുവായൂരപ്പൻ ഭഗവാന്റെ പ്രത്യക്ഷ ദർശനമാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൻറെ പ്രത്യേകത.ശ്രീ ഗുരുവായൂർ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പൂജാവിധികൾ അനുഷ്ഠിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന മധ്യകേരളത്തിലെ ഏക ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണക്ഷേത്രം കൂടിയാണ് പട്ടാമ്പി ഗുരുവായൂരപ്പൻ ക്ഷേത്രം.
ഇവിടത്തെ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണനാണ് (കൃഷ്ണശില).
ഉപദേവതകളായി ഗണപതി, സുബ്രമണ്യൻ, അയ്യപ്പൻ, ഭഗവതി, നാഗരാജാവ് എന്നിവയെ ആരാധിക്കുന്നു.
പ്രധാന വഴിപാടുകളിൽ കളകാഭിഷേകം, ഉദയാസ്തമന പൂജ, രുക്മിണി കൃഷ്ണ പൂജ, പഞ്ചാരപായസം, വെണ്ണനിവേദ്യം, അവൽനിവേദ്യം, അപ്പം/അട എന്നിവ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു.
കേരളത്തിന്റെ സാംസ്കാരിക അടയാളങ്ങളിലൊന്നായ ഭാരതപ്പുഴയുടെ (നിള) മനോഹര തീരത്ത്, പ്രകൃതിയുടെ സൗന്ദര്യത്താൽ സമ്പന്നമായ പ്രദേശത്താണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്.
