Rishinaradamangalam is a village located in the Alathur taluk of Palakkad district, Kerala.
Rishinaradamangalam Temple here is dedicated to Lord Narasimha Murthy, and it is one of the few temples in Kerala dedicated to this form of Lord Vishnu. The temple faces east, and it follows a two-time daily ritual for worship.
The temple’s rituals are overseen by the Panavoor Illam.
Rishinaradamangalam is one of the two villages in the Kannambra area that practice the "Kannambravela" tradition. The temple has several subsidiary deities, including Lord Shiva, Lord Ganapati, Nagaraja, Lord Subramanya, and Lord Ayyappa.
The main festival is a grand eight-day event held in the month of Medam, starting from the seventh day, with a flag-hoisting ceremony.
Originally, the temple belonged to eighteen local families who were in charge of its upkeep. Over time, it became associated with the Kannambra Nair family.
ഋഷിനാരദമംഗലം ക്ഷേത്രം
പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലയിലെ കണ്ണമ്പ്രപഞ്ചായത്തിലാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത്. നരസിംഹം ആണ് ഇവിടുത്തെ പ്രധാന മൂർത്തി. കിഴക്കോട്ടുള്ള ദർശനമുണ്ട് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ, ഇവിടെ രണ്ട് തവണ പൂജകൾ നടക്കുന്നു. പനാവൂർ ഇല്ലതിനാണ് ഇവിടുത്തെ താന്ത്രികവിവരം.
കേരളത്തിലെ പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലയിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു ഗ്രാമമാണ് ഋഷിനാരദമംഗലം. ആലത്തൂർ താലൂക്കിലാണ് ഈ ഗ്രാമം ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നത്. നരസിംഹമൂർത്തിക്ക് സമർപ്പിച്ച കേരളത്തിലെ ചുരുക്കം ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് ഋഷിനാരദമംഗലത്തിന്. ‘കണ്ണമ്പ്രവേല‘ നടത്തുന്ന രണ്ടു ഗ്രാമങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് ഋഷിനാരദമംഗലമെന്ന് പറയപ്പെടുന്നു.ഉപദേവതകളായ ശിവൻ, ഗണപതി, നാഗരാജാവ്, സുബ്രമണ്യൻ, അയ്യപ്പൻ എന്നിവരാണ് ഇവിടെ ആരാധനിക്കായി.
മേടം ഏഴിന് കൊടികയറി എട്ടു ദിവസത്തേക്ക് ഉത്സവം നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു. ആദ്യകാലങ്ങളിൽ, അവണിക്കാട്ടില്ലം തുടങ്ങി പതിനെട്ട് ഇല്ലക്കാരുടെ ക്ഷേത്രമായിരുന്നു. പിന്നീട്, ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം നാടുവാഴിയായ കണ്ണമ്പ്ര നായരുടേതായി മാറി.
