Valayapulli Bhagavathi Temple is located in Vallikkode, Palakkad district, Kerala.
The temple, known as Anchumurthy Thattakam, is dedicated to Swayambhu Sivasakthi and is believed to be thousands of years old. The main deity, Sri Valayappuly Bhagavathy, is enshrined facing north. There are two idols of the goddess — one for daily worship and another for special rituals.
The principal offering at the temple is Kadu-Madhura Payasam, a sweet delicacy.
Devotees visit the temple to seek blessings from Sri Valayappuly Bhagavathy for various aspects of life, particularly for good matrimonial prospects, where offering Pattum Thaliyum (silk and sacred thread) is considered especially auspicious.
During the temple festival held in the month of Kumbham, a special midnight procession takes place, visiting the prayer hall as part of the celebrations. The festivities also include cultural programs like Kalamezhuthu and Pankali, which continue until morning, enhancing the vibrant spirit of the festival.

വളയപുള്ളി ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം പാലക്കാട് ജില്ലയിലെ വള്ളിക്കോട് ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു.
'അഞ്ചുമൂർത്തി തട്ടകം' എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം സ്വയംഭൂ ശിവശക്തിയെ ആരാധിക്കുന്നതോടൊപ്പം, ആയിരങ്ങളോളം വർഷങ്ങൾ പഴക്കമുള്ളതാണെന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠയായ ശ്രീ വളയപ്പുള്ളി ഭഗവതി വടക്ക് ദിശയിൽ ദർശനം നല്‍കുന്നു. ദേവിയുടെ രണ്ട് പ്രതിമകൾ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലുണ്ട് — ദിവസേന ഉള്ള പൂജകൾക്കായി ഒന്ന്, പ്രത്യേക പൂജകൾക്കായി മറ്റൊന്ന്.
ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന നൈവേദ്യം കടുമധുര പായസം ആണ്. വിവാഹസൗഭാഗ്യത്തിനായി ദേവിയുടെ അനുഗ്രഹം തേടാൻ ഭക്തർ ഇവിടെ എത്തുന്നു. പ്രത്യേകിച്ച്, 'പട്ടും താലിയും' സമർപ്പിക്കുന്നത് വളരെ വിശേഷപ്രാധാന്യമുള്ളതായി കരുതപ്പെടുന്നു.പാട്ടുതാലപ്പൊലി, ദേശവിളക്ക്, പ്രതിഷ്ഠാദിനം എന്നിവയാണ് ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന ആഘോഷ ദിനങ്ങൾ.
