Sreenarayanapuram Temple, situated in the picturesque village of Elamanoor, is approximately 10 kilometers from the town of Adoor.
This ancient shrine, dedicated to Lord Vishnu, serves as the presiding deity of the Sreenarayanapuram Mahavishnu Temple. The temple draws worshippers from across Kerala during its festival season. The most prominent celebration at the temple is the Dasavatarachartu festival, which spans ten days and occurs annually.
Each day of the festival features the worship of a different avatar of Lord Vishnu from the Dasavatara. Sreenarayanapuram Mahavishnu Temple attracts significant interest from devotees, as it is among the few temples in Kerala that hosts the Dasavatarachartu festival.
ശ്രീനായണപുരം മഹാവിഷ്ണു ക്ഷേത്രം ഇളമണ്ണൂർ
ഇളമണ്ണൂർ എന്ന പ്രകൃതിരമണീയമായ ഗ്രാമം അടൂരിൽ നിന്ന് ഏകദേശം 4 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. ഇവിടെ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ശ്രീനാരായണപുരം മഹാവിഷ്ണു ക്ഷേത്രം ഒരു പുരാതന ക്ഷേത്രമാണ്, ഇതിന്റെ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠ മഹാവിഷ്ണുവാണ്. ഉത്സവകാലത്ത് കേരളത്തിലെ വിവിധ ഭാഗങ്ങളിൽ നിന്നുള്ള ഭക്തരെ ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം ആകർഷിക്കുന്നു.
ശ്രീനാരായണപുരം ക്ഷേത്രം എല്ലാ വർഷവും ദശാവതാരച്ചാർത്ത് ഉത്സവത്തിന് പ്രശസ്തമാണ്. ഈ ഉത്സവം പത്ത് ദിവസങ്ങളോളം ആഘോഷിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, ഓരോ ദിവസവും ദശാവതാരത്തിലെ മഹാവിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ ഓരോ അവതാരത്തെയും ആരാധിക്കുന്നു. ദശാവതാരചാർത്തുത്സവം നടക്കുന്ന കേരളത്തിലെ കുറച്ച് വിഷ്ണുക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് ശ്രീനാരായണപുരം, അതിനാൽ നിരവധി ഭക്തരുടെ ശ്രദ്ധ ആകർഷിക്കുന്നു.
