Kulangarakavu Shri Bhavaneshwari Temple located in Vaipur on the banks of the Manimala River in the Mallappally Taluk of Pathanamthitta district.
The temple is situated approximately 700 meters from Vaipur. Shri Bhavaneshwari is considered another manifestation of the goddess Durga. To get to the Kulantharakavu Sri Bhuvaneshwari Temple, one needs to travel a distance of one and a half kilometers from the Kulantharakavu Sri Bhuvaneshwari Mahadevi Major Temple.
Bhuvaneshwari is recognized as the fourth of the ten Mahavidyas, or Shakti deities, in Hinduism. She represents a manifestation of the goddess who plays a vital role in the creation of the universe, embodying aspects of the physical cosmos. The goddess is also known as Adi Parashakti or Parvati, representing one of the primordial forms of power. Her consort is Lord Shiva, who is referred to as Thriyambakan (Bhuvaneshwaran).

പത്തനംതിട്ട ജില്ലയിലെ മല്ലപ്പള്ളി താലൂക്കിൽ മണിമലയാറിൻ തീരത്തുള്ള വായ്പുരിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഭുവനേശ്വരി ക്ഷേത്രം കുളങ്ങരക്കാവ് ശ്രീ ഭുവനേശ്വരി ക്ഷേത്രമായി അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. വായ്പുരിൽ നിന്ന് 700 മീറ്റർ അകലെയാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. ദുർഗ്ഗാദേവിയുടെ മറ്റൊരു രൂപമാണ് ശ്രീ ഭുവനേശ്വരി.
കുളങ്കരക്കാവ് ശ്രീ ഭുവനേശ്വരി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഒന്നര കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയായുള്ള യാത്ര ചെയ്താൽ, കുളങ്ങരക്കാവ് ശ്രീ ഭുവനേശ്വരി മഹാദേവി മേജർ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെത്താം.
ഹിന്ദുമതത്തിലെ പത്ത് മഹാവിദ്യകളിൽ നാലാമത്തെ ദേവതയാണ് ഭുവനേശ്വരി. ലോക സൃഷ്ടിയിൽ ഭൗതിക പ്രപഞ്ചത്തിന്റെ ഘടകമായ ദേവിയുടെ ഒരു രൂപം കൂടിയാണ് ഇത്. ദേവി ആദി പരശക്തി അല്ലെങ്കിൽ പാർവതി എന്ന പേരിലും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു, അതായത് ശക്തിയുടെ ആദ്യകാല രൂപങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ്. ത്രയംബകൻ (ഭുവനേശ്വരൻ ) ആയ ശിവനാണ് ഭർത്താവ്.
