Mezhuveli Anandabhootheshawaram Temple is a renowned temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in the center of Mezhuveli village within the Pathanamthitta District.
Mezhuveli Anandabhootheshawaram Temple was constructed by the local villagers under the guidance of the renowned social reformer and poet, Sri Muloor S. Padmanabha Panicker, and was consecrated by Sree Narayana Guru. This century-old structure is located in an area known as 'Tholekavu,' which is bordered to the south by a small hill named 'Meenchirakkal Hill,' to the east by 'Ambottimodi,' also referred to as 'Kailasam,' and to the west by a picturesque stream near 'Pottanmala.'
To the north lies 'Padmanabhan Kunnu,' another small hill. Tholekavu was once a modest forest, believed to have been part of the Pandalam Kingdom. Sree Mahadevan is the primary deity revered at this location. Additionally, Ganapathi, Subramanian, Devi, Shasthavu, Nagarajavu, Nagayakshi, and Brahmarakhshassu are honored as subsidiary deities. Within the temple complex, there exists a dedicated Guru Mandir for Sree Naryana Guru, who was responsible for the temple's consecration.
An arayaal tree is also found within the temple grounds. The principal offerings include Neyvilakku, Jaladhaara, and Mrityunjaya Pushpanjali, along with various vedasooktha archanas and pushpanjalis. All significant rituals, such as Ganapathi Homam and Neeranjanam, can be performed here with great care and effectiveness. Mondays and Saturdays are particularly recommended for visits, especially for Shiva Pooja.

പത്തനംതിട്ടയിൽ നിന്ന് 16 കിലോമീറ്റർ തെക്ക് പടിഞ്ഞാറും ചെങ്ങന്നൂരിൽ നിന്ന് 12 കിലോമീറ്റർ കിഴക്കുമാണ് സ്ഥാനം. മെഴുവേലി ഗ്രാമത്തിന്റെ കേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന പ്രശസ്തമായ ശിവക്ഷേത്രമാണ് മെഴുവേലി ആനന്ദഭൂതേശ്വരം ക്ഷേത്രം. ശ്രീ. മൂലൂർ എസ്. പത്മനാഭപ്പണിക്കരുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ ഗ്രാമവാസികൾ ചേർന്ന് പണികഴിപ്പിച്ച ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം ശ്രീനാരായണ ഗുരുവിന്റെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠയോടെ സ്ഥാപിതമായതാണ്.
നൂറ്റാണ്ടുകളായി നിലനിന്നിരിക്കുന്ന ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം 'തൊലേക്കാവ്' എന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു, തെക്കായി 'മീഞ്ചിറക്കൽ കുന്ന്' എന്ന ചെറിയ കുന്നിന്റെ ചുറ്റളവിലാണ്. 'അമ്പോട്ടിമോടി' എന്ന സ്ഥലത്താണ് ഇത്, കിഴക്കായി 'കൈലാസം' എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്നു, പടിഞ്ഞാറ് ഒഴുകുന്ന മനോഹരമായ അരുവിയോടുകൂടി. "പൊട്ടൻമല" എന്ന സ്ഥലത്തിന് സമീപം, വടക്കായി "പത്മനാഭൻ കുന്ന്" എന്ന ചെറിയ കുന്നും കാണപ്പെടുന്നു. പന്തളം സാമ്രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായിരുന്ന ഒരു ചെറിയ വനമായിരുന്നു തോലേക്കാവ്.
ശ്രീ മഹാദേവനാണ് ഈ സ്ഥലത്തിന്റെ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠ. ഗണപതി, സുബ്രഹ്മണ്യൻ, ദേവി, ശാസ്താവ്, നാഗരാജാവ്, നാഗയക്ഷി, ബ്രഹ്മരക്ഷസ്സ് എന്നിവരെ ഉപദേവതകളായി ഇവിടെ ആരാധിക്കുന്നു. ശ്രീനാരായണ ഗുരുവിന്റെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠയ്ക്കായി പ്രത്യേകമായി ഗുരുമന്ദിരം ക്ഷേത്രത്തിനകത്ത് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു. ക്ഷേത്രപരിസരത്ത് ഒരു അരയാൽ മരവും കാണപ്പെടുന്നു.
നെയ്യ് വിളക്ക്, ജലധാര, മൃത്യുഞ്ജയ പുഷ്പാഞ്ജലി എന്നിവയോടൊപ്പം മറ്റ് എല്ലാ വേദസൂക്ത അർച്ചനകളും പുഷ്പാഞ്ജലികളും പ്രധാന വഴിപാടുകളാണ്. ഗണപതിഹോമം, നീരാഞ്ജനം തുടങ്ങിയ മറ്റ് പ്രധാന പൂജകൾ ഇവിടെ വളരെ ഭംഗിയോടെ, കൃത്യമായി, ഫലപ്രദമായി നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു. ശിവപൂജയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ, തിങ്കളും ശനിയുമാണ് ക്ഷേത്ര ദർശനത്തിന് പ്രധാന ദിവസങ്ങൾ.
