Muringamangalam Sreemahadevar Temple, situated half a kilometer from Konni Junction, boasts a history spanning over a millennium.
This temple was formerly associated with the Pandalam Royal Family. It stands as the largest temple to the east of Pathanamthitta and is recognized as the largest Siva temple within the Pathanamthitta District.
Located in the State of Kerala in peninsular India, the primary deity worshipped here is Lord Shiva, who faces eastward. Additionally, the temple houses deities such as Lord Ganapathi, Ayyappa, Nagas, and Krishna. The installation of the Lord Krishna idol is a recent development, prompted by his identification during a 'Devaprasnam' following a series of Bhagavatha Sapthaham.

മുരിങ്ങമംഗലം ശ്രീ മഹാദേവർ ക്ഷേത്രം
മുരിങ്ങമംഗലം ശ്രീമഹാദേവർ ക്ഷേത്രം കോന്നി ജംഗ്ഷനിൽ നിന്ന് 1/2 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നു, 1000 വർഷത്തിലേറെ പഴക്കമുള്ള ഒരു ക്ഷേത്രമാണ്. ഇത് പന്തളം രാജകുടുംബത്തിൻ്റെ ഉടമസ്ഥതയിലായിരുന്നു. പത്തനംതിട്ട ജില്ലയിലെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ശിവക്ഷേത്രവും, പത്തനംതിട്ടയുടെ കിഴക്കുള്ള ഏറ്റവും വലിയ ക്ഷേത്രവുമാണ് ഇത്.
ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം ഇന്ത്യയിലെ കേരള സംസ്ഥാനത്താണ് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. കിഴക്കോട്ട് അഭിമുഖമായി നിൽക്കുന്ന ശിവനാണ് പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠ. ഗണപതി, അയ്യപ്പൻ, നാഗങ്ങൾ, കൃഷ്ണൻ എന്നിവരെ ഇവിടെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. തുടർച്ചയായ ഭാഗവത സപ്താഹം കാരണം 'ദേവപ്രശ്ന'ത്തിൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിൻ്റെ സാന്നിധ്യം കണ്ടെത്തിയതിന് ശേഷം, ഭഗവാൻ കൃഷ്ണൻ്റെ ക്ഷേത്രം അടുത്തിടെ കൂട്ടിച്ചേർക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്.
