Pazhakulam Punthalaveetil Temple is a Hindu shrine located in the Pazhakulam area of Pathanamthitta, Kerala.
Punthalaveettil Devi Kshethram is renowned for its rich traditions and cultural significance. The deity is revered in three principal forms: as the Creator (Durga or the Divine Mother), the Preserver (Lakshmi, Parvathy, and Saraswati), and the Destroyer (Mahishasuramardini, Kali).
The worship of Devi predominantly takes place in the guise of the divine mother. The temple's grand festival occurs on April 14, during which various clans associated with the temple construct large bullock chariots, known as Kettukala, which are then pulled to the temple by members of their respective clans or regions. There are eight clans affiliated with the temple, each presenting a unique kettukazcha, along with nercha ketturupadi as offerings to the goddess.
Annually, the MahaNavahayagnam is conducted at the temple over a span of nine days, during which annadanam and numerous other rituals are performed to appease the goddess and promote prosperity for the village and its inhabitants. Participation in the navahayagnam is inclusive, with villagers from all religious backgrounds taking part.

എല്ലാ വർഷവും, ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ ഒൻപത് ദിവസം മഹാനവാഹയജ്ഞം നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു, ദേവിയെ തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുത്താനും ഗ്രാമത്തിനും ഗ്രാമവാസികൾക്കും ഐശ്വര്യം വരാൻ ഈ 9 ദിവസങ്ങളിൽ അന്നദാനവും മറ്റ് ആചാരങ്ങളും നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു. നവാഹയജ്ഞത്തിൽ, ഗ്രാമത്തിലെ വിവിധ ജാതി മതസ്ഥർ ഒരേ പ്രാർത്ഥനയോടെ, ഒരേ മനസ്സോടെ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നത് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിന്റെ പ്രത്യേകതയാണ്.
