പത്തനംതിട്ട ജില്ലയിലെ മുല്ലപ്പള്ളി താലൂക്കിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ശതാബ്ദങ്ങൾ പഴക്കമുള്ള പ്രസിദ്ധമായ ക്ഷേത്രമാണ് പെരുമ്പെട്ടി ശ്രീ മഹാദേവ - മഹാവിഷ്ണു ക്ഷേത്രം. ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം പെരുമ്പെട്ടിയിൽ നിന്നും ഏകദേശം ഒരു കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയാണുള്ളത്. ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠകൾ ശ്രീ മഹാദേവനും മഹാവിഷ്ണുവുമാണ്. ഇരു ദേവന്മാരും ഒരേ മതിൽക്കെട്ടിൽ, വ്യത്യസ്ത ശ്രീകോവിലുകളിൽ, സമാന പ്രാധാന്യത്തോടെ വാഴുന്നു. ഓരോ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിനും പ്രത്യേകമായി കൊടിമരങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ട്.
