Orippurathu Bhagavathy Temple, located in Thattayil near Pandalam in Kerala, is an ancient Hindu temple that dates back 1200 years.
It is renowned as one of the most prominent Bhagavathi temples in Central Travancore, with Goddess Kali serving as the principal deity of the temple. The principal deity worshipped at the temple is Goddess Kali.
The temple also honors several subordinate deities, including Lord Ganesha, Lord Krishna, Naga Rajav, Naga Yakshi, Rekshassu, Yogeeshwaran, Yakshi Amma, and Madan Swamy. Orippurathu Bhagavathi Temple is positioned approximately 7 kilometers from Pandalam and 12 kilometers from Pathanamthitta, situated 2 kilometers from National Highway 183A.
During the annual festival, the temple hosts the 'Thookkam' offering as part of its celebrations.
തട്ടയിൽ ഒരിപ്പുറത്ത് ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം
ഒരിപ്പുറത്തു ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം, കേരളത്തിലെ പത്തനംതിട്ട ജില്ലയിലെ അടൂരിനടുത്തുള്ള തട്ടയിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന 1200 വർഷം പഴക്കമുള്ള ഒരു പുരാതന ഹിന്ദു ക്ഷേത്രമാണ്. മധ്യതിരുവിതാംകൂറിലെ പ്രശസ്തമായ ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നായ ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിൽ കാളി ദേവിയാണ് പ്രധാന പ്രതിഷ്ഠ. ഗണപതി, കൃഷ്ണൻ, നാഗരാജവ്, നാഗ യക്ഷി, രേഖാസ്സു, യോഗീശ്വരൻ, യക്ഷി അമ്മ, മദൻ സ്വാമി എന്നിവയാണ് ഉപദേവതകൾ.
പന്തളത്തിൽ നിന്ന് 7 കിലോമീറ്ററും, പത്തനംതിട്ടയിൽ നിന്ന് 12 കിലോമീറ്ററും അകലെയാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം. ദേശീയ പാത 183 എയിൽ നിന്ന് 2 കിലോമീറ്റർ അകലെയാണ് സ്ഥാനം. ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ വാർഷിക ഉത്സവത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി 'തൂക്കം' വഴിപാട് നടത്തപ്പെടുന്നു.
