Sree Annapurneswari Devi Temple is regarded as one of the oldest temples in the region. It is located in an area referred to as Valiyakunnam, in proximity to Chalappally, within the Pathanamthitta district.
Valiyakunnam is fortunate to host one of the unique temples in Kerala, where Annapoorneswari Devi is revered as the principal deity. Devotees who offer their prayers to Amma will undoubtedly receive appropriate blessings. The temple also honors several sub-deities, including Ganesha, Yakshi Amma, Rekshasu, and Nagarajavu.
വലിയകുന്നം ശ്രീ അന്നപൂർണ്ണേശ്വരീ ദേവീ ക്ഷേത്രം
വലിയകുന്നം എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന പ്രദേശം പത്തനംതിട്ട ജില്ലയിലെ ചാലപ്പള്ളിക്ക് സമീപമാണ് കുന്നത്ത് ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. കേരളത്തിലെ അപൂർവമായ അന്നപൂർണേശ്വരി ദേവിയെ പ്രധാന ദേവതയായി പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചിരിക്കുന്ന ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണ് ഇവിടെ ഉള്ളത്. കുന്നത്ത് ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം അതിപുരാതനമായ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നാണെന്ന് വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു.
നാടിന്റെ ഐശ്വര്യത്തിനും സമ്പത്ത് സമൃദ്ധിക്കും പാത്രീഭൂതമായ ശ്രീ അന്നപൂർണ്ണേശ്വരീ ദേവി ഇവിടെ കുടികൊള്ളുന്നു. ഗണപതി, യക്ഷി അമ്മ, രേഖാസു, നാഗരാജാവ് എന്നിവയാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ ഉപദേവതകൾ. വലിയകുന്നം ശ്രീ അന്നപൂർണ്ണേശ്വരീ ദേവി ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന വിശേഷദിവസങ്ങൾ: ശ്രീമദ് ഭാഗവത സപ്താഹയജ്ഞം, പൂരമഹോത്സവം, മൂലസ്ഥാനത്ത് കളമെഴുത്തും പാട്ടും ഗുരുതിയും. പ്രധാന ഉത്സവം കുംഭമാസത്തിലെ പൂരം ആണ്.
