തൃശ്ശൂരിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഒളരിക്കര ശ്രീ ഭഗവതി ക്ഷേത്രം മഹാദേവിയായ ഭഗവതിയെയാണ് പ്രതിഷ്ഠിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. സാക്ഷാൽ ശക്തിയുടെ സ്വരൂപമായ ദേവി ഹിന്ദുമതത്തിൽ സൃഷ്ടി, സംരക്ഷണം, സംഹാരം എന്നിവയുടെ ദൈവിക ശക്തിയും സൃഷ്ടിയുടെ സജീവ ശക്തിയുമാണ്. ദുർഗ്ഗ, കാളി, പാർവതി തുടങ്ങിയ അനേകം രൂപങ്ങളിൽ ദേവിയെ ആരാധിക്കുന്നു.
