Aryasala Devi Temple is among the oldest and most renowned temples located in the center of Trivandrum City. It is believed that this temple was constructed by laborers who were engaged in the construction of Sree Padmanabha Swamy Temple to safeguard their tools.
Aryashala Devi Temple is situated along Chala-Killipalam Road, close to Aryashala Junction in the Thiruvananthapuram district. The temple faces east, and its structure is circular. The depiction of the goddess revered at this site is characterized by a gentle and serene demeanor. She is portrayed with four arms: the upper right hand holds a chakra, the left hand carries a conch shell, the lower right hand is in the Varada mudra, and the left hand rests on her waist while she stands.
This temple is recognized as one of the 108 Durga temples in Kerala.
The nine-day Trikodiyettu Mahotsavam dedicated to the Goddess takes place during the month of Medamasam. The festivities begin with the Thrukkodiyettu on the day of Chatayam Nakshatra in Medam, followed by Sheevali, Utsavabali, Pallivetta, and Aarattu, culminating in the Thrukkodiyirakkam on Kartika Nakshatra. Additionally, Pongala is celebrated on Chithira Pournami.

ആര്യശാല ദേവീ ക്ഷേത്രം, തിരുവനന്തപുരത്ത് ആര്യശാല ജംഗ്ഷന് സമീപം ചാല-കിള്ളിപ്പാലം റോഡിൽ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരു പുരാതന ദുർഗ്ഗാക്ഷേത്രമാണ്. ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം ശ്രീപരശുരാമനാൽ പ്രതിഷ്‌ഠിക്കപ്പെട്ട 108 ദുർഗ്ഗാലയങ്ങളിൽ ഒന്നായി വിശ്വസിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. ദേവി ഇവിടെ സൗമ്യവും ശാന്തമായ രൂപത്തിൽ ആരാധിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു, അതിൽ ദേവി ചതുർഭുജയായും, ഓരോ കൈയ്യിലും ചക്രം, ശംഖം, വരദമുദ്ര, എന്നിവയുമായി ഭക്തരുടെ മോക്ഷത്തിനായി നിൽക്കുന്നു.
ശ്രീകോവിൽ വൃത്താകൃതിയിലുള്ളതാണ്, കൂടാതെ ദേവി കിഴക്ക് ദർശനമായാണ് സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്. തിരുവിതാംകൂർ ദേവസ്വം ബോർഡിൻറെ നിയന്ത്രണത്തിൽ വരുന്ന ഈ ക്ഷേത്രം, അനവധി ഭക്തന്മാരെ ആകർഷിക്കുന്നു.
ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന ഉത്സവമായ തൃക്കൊടിയേറ്റ് മഹോത്സവം മേടമാസത്തിലാണ് ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നത്. ചതയം നക്ഷത്രത്തിൽ ആരംഭിച്ച് കാർത്തിക നക്ഷത്രത്തിൽ സമാപിക്കുന്ന ഈ ഉത്സവം ഒമ്പത് ദിവസം നീണ്ടുനിൽക്കുന്നു. ശീവേലിയും, ഉത്സവബലിയും, പള്ളിവേട്ടയും, ആറാട്ടും ഉത്സവത്തിന്റെ പ്രധാന ഘടകങ്ങളാണ്.
ചിത്രപൗർണ്ണമി നാളിൽ പൊങ്കാല മഹോത്സവം ഉണ്ടാകും, അതിന് മുന്നോടിയായി നാടൻ കലാരൂപങ്ങളായ കുത്തിയോട്ടം, കുതിരയെടുപ്പ്, എഴുന്നള്ളത്ത്, നൃത്ത-സംഗീത കച്ചേരികൾ, താലപ്പൊലി, നിശ്ചലദൃശ്യങ്ങൾ, ആകാശദീപം തുടങ്ങിയ വിശേഷങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാകും.
